-For the big news of yesterday, Nebraska officially unveiled plans for a $450 million renovation project of Memorial Stadium, with a lot of it involving South Stadium having a new seating bowl and seat backs, plus concourse connection at field level, and more

-More importantly? Per the Journal Star’s Chris Dunker, there is a real possibility of someone “pushing a button” to demolish the current South Stadium…it’s not a roof, but that HAS to be Bill’s job…right???

How much can Saturday’s game against Michigan affect the perspective on the rest of the season? Sep 28, 2023

Show notes

-Bill made it clear before the season (and Jake and Sip agreed) that the Illinois game would be the biggest game of the season, which is next Friday—and it still makes complete sense

-But going into that game, how much changes if Nebraska loses a close game vs. getting beat handily by Michigan? Sip says a lot that “a loss is a loss,” and in the W/L column he’s right---but is it always simply just that?

-And if somehow Nebraska were to beat Michigan…does that completely elevate the goal of the season?
