We complain about the amount of opt-outs in bowl games….but have we fully looked at the other side of it all? Dec 28, 2023

Show notes

-Florida State QB Tate Rodemaker announced Christmas Day that he would be opting out of the Orange Bowl against Georgia, causing a lot of people (ourselves included) to roll their eyes in disgust

-However…why don’t we look at it from his perspective? FSU has been rumored to be close to a lot of big-time names in the portal like Cam Ward and DJ Uiagalelei, signaling that they’d move on from Rodemaker

-Rodemaker was obviously a backup to Jordan Travis…and if he stuck around, would he screw himself over in terms of finding a new home when the portal closes on January 2^nd?
