Scott Frost is apparently ‘dying’ for a chance to be a head coach again in college football or the NFL…will Husker fans root him on? Apr 04, 2024

Show notes

-We just saw a Husker legend willingly leave Nebraska on his own terms---Trev Alberts---which has led to many Nebraska fans disowning him from the fanbase, despite being an unbelievable player here

-Frost didn’t leave on his own terms---he was fired, of course---after a 16-31 era that still is shocking how it went down to most fans

-Matt Rhule is a popular hire for the fanbase, so has it completely moved on that if Frost were to get a job, there would be support for him? Curious where fans would go with fandom…

A story in central Nebraska further proves how incredible the Husker fanbase is statewide and why this place needs to win consistently Apr 03, 2024

Show notes

-The Nebraska Volleyball Spring Match is in Kearney on Saturday, May 4^th against the University of Denver. We know that Nebraska fans are fervent in their support, but THIS was a different animal…

-Tickets for the 5,400 capacity arena in Kearney sold out in 46 minutes---doors opened at 10am yesterday and there were people in line at midnight in blankets and coats, and footage of many people in line in the wee hours of the morning waiting to get in….just an unbelievable site for a SCRIMMAGE

-Also, back to Matar Diop---make it 8 players from this season’s Nebrasketball team moving on (6 transfers, 2 graduates)…that’s significant.

Show notes

-White, Nebraska’s defensive coordinator, laid out lofty goals for his Blackshirts defense, coming off a season where they finished 11^th in the nation in total defense and return many starters

-As Sip wrote yesterday for HuskerOnline, for Nebraska to take that type of leap, they need to have some All-B1G players or All-Americans…are they any potentially on this roster of that magnitude?

-Also, Nebraska played Creighton baseball last night in Omaha…did they keep the win streak alive and extend to 11 in a row?
