Is there any way that the constant transfer portal turnover at places like Colorado can work? Apr 25, 2024

Show notes

-With RB Dylan Edwards entering the portal, that’s now 20 players who put their name in the portal from the Buffaloes in April alone

-We know the massive roster overhaul that Deion Sanders had last year, which resulted in a 3-0 start but a 4-8 record overall on the season…and overhaul on the staff, too

-Is there a path to THAT much turnover working or is that bound for failure?

Show notes

-As many as 6 QBs could possibly go in tonight’s first round, with USC’s Caleb Williams expected to be No. 1 overall…after that, there’s lots of questions of who is next out of Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, Michael Penix, and Bo Nix

-Do any of these players seem like for sure stars in the league right away? How many if so?

-It’s also a draft full of good offensive linemen…would you take one in the first round or rely on the depth of the position this year for later rounds?

Nebraska could get shut out again of the NFL Draft tomorrow through Saturday…are you confident this coaching staff is getting NFL level players on the roster now? Apr 24, 2024

Show notes

-There’s a chance that someone like Quinton Newsome or Luke Reimer could get drafted in the later rounds on Saturday, but it seems unlikely---they’re probably set to be undrafted free agents

-This happened in 2019, too, with no Huskers drafted in the 7 rounds of the draft…does it seem like things are changing now and that we’ll start to see more Huskers drafted?

-For those who say it’s an overrated topic or not important, you are wrong---you win with DUDES
