Would 6 wins be an acceptable season or disappointing for Nebraska fans? Aug 15, 2024

Show notes

-Ask that question 10 years ago and you get laughed out of the building, as Nebraska was routinely winning 9 to 10 games a year. But no bowl game since 2016 makes it a fair question

-ESPN’s Football Power Index ratings put Nebraska at No. 41, with a projection approximate record of 6.5-5.5

-It seems like most Husker fans are predicting 7 or 8 wins…maybe up to 9…is 6 acceptable with a bowl game bid or disappointing? Also---no Huskers in the first 2 teams of CBS Sports’ All-Americans.
