We might not know the QB for UTEP, but we do know they have a player that could cause problems on defense Aug 27, 2024

Show notes

-As of Monday, UTEP was yet to announce a starting QB for Saturday’s game---but as Matt Rhule pointed out, they have a good pass rusher (Maurice Westmoreland), who is coming off a 7.5 sack season with 10.5 TFLs

-UTEP might not be the best team, but that is something to watch against the tackles as mentioned above..

We might know Nebraska’s starting QB, but as of yesterday---it’s unclear who will be the starting RB on Saturday vs. UTEP Aug 27, 2024

Show notes

-The depth chart is out, and Matt Rhule was at the podium Monday in the midst of the first game week of the season---and while Rahmir Johnson was listed first on the depth chart, all the RBs had ‘OR’ by them

-Rhule said its mostly because of the unique skillset that each RB brings to the lineup, which begs the question…will it change throughout the season? Will one separate ever from the pack?

-More on the depth chart…and an interesting backup LT due to an injury is leaving some fans nervous…

Georgia Tech showed a path to beating a quality team with good special teams and offensive line play…can Nebraska win that way? Aug 26, 2024

Show notes

-The FSU/Georgia Tech game was impressive kicking by both teams, as Florida State’s kicker made a 52 and 59 yarder in the first half, and GT won with a FG to end

-Georgia Tech also ran the ball when they needed to in the 2^nd half to get in position to win, and then executed when they needed to.

-Can Nebraska do that to both melt clock or extend drives and end them with FGs if necessary?
