For the first time since 2019, Nebraska is 1-0 to start the season---and Dylan Raiola looked the part in his first career game Sep 02, 2024

Show notes

-It wasn’t the most pleasant feeling when the score was 7-7 entering the 2^nd quarter and a fumble by Dante Dowdell gave the ball to UTEP deep in their territory; but soon after, a safety and big plays for TDs opened up a comfortable 30-7 halftime lead en route to a 40-7 win

-Raiola was 19/27 in the game with 2 TDs and most importantly---NO TURNOVERS and only one sack taken

-Nebraska is actually +1 in the turnover margin and despite one botched series giving up a TD, the defense got the job done
