Welcome to the craziness of December in college football---Nebraska DC Tony White is reportedly heading to Florida State Dec 03, 2024

-News was flying all over social media yesterday with reports of White heading to Florida State in the same role as he had at Nebraska

-Nebraska also learned of DE Jimari Butler, LB Makai Gbayor, and RB Gabe Ervin, Jr. entering the portal among others

-Maybe the biggest news of all, however, is OC Dana Holgorsen staying with the team on a two-year contract after coming in as an analyst just a month ago

The “Here We Go Again” mentality went away for one game (Wisconsin) and now came back again…why can’t Nebraska get past it? Dec 02, 2024

Show notes

-Thankfully for a fanbase that is desperate to get back to a bowl game, Wisconsin is dead (see: Minnesota beating them, 24-7, after Nebraska rolled them)---so a bowl game was clinched prior to the Iowa game

-Then, Iowa waited Nebraska out, knowing they’d make the big mistake---and they did. When does that stop and the fans knowing it’s about to happen?

Another year, another baffling loss to end the regular season: Nebraska dominates Iowa in almost every facet of the game, yet falls in Iowa City, 13-10 Dec 02, 2024

Show notes

-You’ve all seen the stats by now, but you don’t need stats to point out how badly Nebraska blew the game if you simply watched it. The Hawkeyes had 5 total first downs, 164 total yards and were 0/10 on 3^rd downs---and trailed 10-0 at halftime---yet special teams and a big defensive play led them to a win

-At no point really did the game look like Iowa was the better team---they DID have the most impressive individual offensive play of the game on Kaleb Johnson’s tackle-breaking long TD to start the 4^th quarter—but besides that, they did nothing offensively----and WON

-The good news is that this doesn’t prevent Nebraska from a bowl game, but it was more of the same…
