How can college football fix the broken Bowl Game system? Dec 18, 2024

Show notes

-CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd wrote about the issue yesterday, and even though Nebraska fans are happy to snap an ugly streak of no postseason---it’s still not the same as it was, regardless of what bowl game they are in

-We all know the opt-out issue facing college football and transfer portal, as well---Dodd suggests that incentivizing players to play with bowl revenue could be a possibility, as well as doing away with conference affiliations to provide better match-ups, and making sure 6-6 is the minimum to make a bowl game (no more 5-7 teams getting in with APR)

-What do Sip, Bill and Jake think could fix the bowl system, or is it a lost cause?
