With the AFC Championship game just days away, a disturbing stat for non-Chiefs fans is bothersome Jan 23, 2025

Show notes

-Per Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis, the Chiefs have gone 11 straight playoff games without committing more penalties than their opponents, the longest streak by any team the past 30 years

-The only teams with longer streaks were the Dolphins with 18 games from 1970-82; and the Broncos, with 12 games between 1984-91. The Chiefs were among the MOST penalized teams this regular season…do they just play better, cleaner football in the playoffs or is there something else going on?

-Some other rankings that stand out? Texas (1); Ohio State (2); Illinois (7!!!!!)…Florida (9); Alabama (14); Indiana (23)

-Are we looking at a Bret Bielema squad that could be a College Football Playoff contender?
