CBS Sports has the biggest questions facing each B1G team ahead of the Spring, and Nebraska’s question won’t surprise you Mar 12, 2025

Show notes

-Tom Fornelli addressed questions facing each team, and for Nebraska, the question was: Can the defense handle its losses?

-Seems simple enough as a question, but we keep saying: you don’t just replace Ty Robinson and Nash Hutmacher; or Jimari Butler, Princewill Umanmielen and James Williams to a further extent

New Husker OL Rocco Spindler had the quote of the day yesterday that speaks to the goals of all Nebraska fans Mar 12, 2025

Show notes

-Spindler comes to Nebraska from Notre Dame, where he was part of a national runner-up squad that was carried by a good run game and great o-line play

-Yesterday, he said, “We’ve gotta be an offensive line driven program.” Essentially—stop being a reason why this team suffers and instead by a reason why this team wins. We can only hope…

Matt Rhule and three newcomers addressed media yesterday ahead of Spring Football…lots to unpack including some early concerns about Dylan Raiola’s body composition Mar 12, 2025

Show notes

-We will play plenty of audio from yesterday through the show and all that Rhule had to talk about, but something that caught people’s attention were comments about Raiola, saying “he won’t be a great quarterback at 240 pounds”

-For everyone that commented about Raiola’s body when he was throwing out T-shirts at a Nebrasketball game this winter, this provides some added reason for concern coming from the head coach’s mouth…but he did have some good things to say still about Dylan
