Nebraska football caps off 2025 with an abomination of a performance in the Vegas bowl, getting blasted by Utah on their way to a 7-6 season Jan 02, 2026

Show notes

The only good news today for Nebraska football is that it's officially 2026 - so the 2025 season is completely over with. That's about it. Nebraska had a great first quarter and then disappeared on both sides of the ball in a blowout by the Utes
We asked who had more to play for - wouldn’t Nebraska be motivated to prove the 14-point spread was disrespectful, and that Utah might have issues in the first game under Morgan Scalley? Nope---at least not after the first quarter. A complete dud to end things for the year and more angst from the fanbase. And not to mention further the backwards hat stuff…

Bowl momentum is a tricky thingto fiture out with the state of the postseason right now, but a win today could really make an OK season become respectable Dec 31, 2025

Show notes

-Nebraska carries a 29 game losing streak to ranked teams into today’s game vs. Utah…and if you are in the group that hopes that TJ Lateef sticks around and potentially starts next year, it’s pretty important he shows some potential today like the UCLA game

-Possibly snap the 29 game skid, plus officially surpass last year’s record (7-6 last year), AND add on to the B1G’s great postseason so far…seems like there’s a lot to play for AND gain from today

New Hampshire's record was not good coming into the game, but we also hadn't seen Nebraska play for 9 days, and the last time out
It's hard to imagine Nebraska being this good of a team... and they're already 2-0 in B1G play... can't wait for Friday!
