Dabo Swinney is trying to make a stance in college football about tampering….will anything come from it, though? Jan 26, 2026

Show notes

-The longtime Clemson head coach was at the podium last week and went on an 8 minute rant (we won’t play the whole thing) about

tampering in college football, personally calling out Ole Miss’ Pete Golding for tampering with Clemson’s Luke Ferrelli

-Dabo provided a full timeline of the events and obviously had no issues with mentioning anyone by name…and so it’s all out there. He

said, “if there are no consequences for tampering, then we have no rules---we have no governance.”

Another road game with a halftime deficit---and another blowout win for Nebrasketball, who moves to 20-0 and continues to impress after a win at Minnesota Jan 26, 2026

Show notes

-Minnesota came into the game averaging 7.8 made 3-pointers per game….and made 9 in the first half alone. Then, the law of averages

kicked in as they went 0/11 on 3s in the 2 nd half and Nebraska buried them (Huskers somehow only trailed by 6 at halftime, too)

-Pryce Sandfort did what he does---overcoming a quiet first half with just 2 points, before putting up 20 points in the 2 nd half and

leading the rout. Sam Hoiberg was massive in the first half with 14 points to keep the Huskers in it, and the rest is history. Top 5 ranking

coming today…and don’t forget, no Braden Frager for the win…

A lot of Husker fans think tomorrow is the day Nebraska might suffer their first loss of the season…does The Stool agree? Jan 23, 2026

Show notes

-Minnesota’s record is not impressive…10-9 overall and 3-5 in B1G play…but they do play well at home. However, the Gophers

have lost 4 straight games since their win over Iowa to start January, now at 3-5 in conference play

-We likely won’t see Braden Frager, and if you watched the game vs. Washington, it seemed like players were getting tired at

the end without Frager getting his standard minutes due to injury….can this team fight through and get to 20-0?

Another day, another transfer of a Nebraska commit to Millard South---can anyone say this is good for high school football? Jan 23, 2026

Show notes

-Trae Taylor announced 2 days ago he’d be transferring to Millard South, and now 2027 Husker commit Tay Ellis announced

yesterday he’d be transferring from Fort Worth, TX to Millard South to play his senior year with Taylor

-It makes for fun for Husker fans who can see these players now up close and personal, but it creates a bigger issue for high

school football and what really matters anymore. What side are fans on for this issue?
