Cartons of Kneecaps Aug 01, 2023

Show notes

Just a few weeks till summer break is over and someone turned up the heat. Evan stays up too late struggling with a video game that an 8 year old could win, while Kevin goes ice skating in the desert, if that's what you can call stumbling with forward momentum as your body holds prone at a 45 degree angle. Also, Kevin's youngest gets his pre-school vaccines with his older sister cheering him on, sort of.

Wet Fries and Traveling Jul 11, 2023

Show notes

Kevin and Evan both took plane rides with their kids and came back in one piece. Evan's trip to Seattle, Washington (or in the vicinity) included a joy ride through a new airport, a beloved carseat carrier dismantling and a complete dismissal of normal bedtime hours. Meanwhile Kevin's trip to the Texas heat started on the wrong foot with too much walking, an annoyed wife and wet fries. But he did get a "You're doing a great job, Dad" award from a flight attendant, even though experts say - he was not.

Please vote for The Dumb Dads in the Podcast Awards! We would love if you'd nominate us in the Kids & Family category and you can also nominate us for People's Choice.

If you're looking for the car seat carrier or the luggage scale we talk about in this episode, you can find them in our new Amazon storefront where we'll link to products we talk about and like.
