Does life imitate art, or does art imitate life? Well, Armando Flores walks both worlds. A renowned lowrider model (artist) and life size car builder, he gets to display his vision of the styles and colors he remembers from cruising down the streets of San Fernando Valley, in the 1970's and 1980's. Armando gives a vivid account of the early days of lowriding in the SFV and all the action going on. The paint jobs, the cruise spots and of course the cars.
The part one of two interview with Armando had me holding back some tears, of sadness and joy. Speaking of his commitment to his loved ones and attempting to build his dream car, that actually had an even deeper meaning.
Listen in as he recounts with vivid memory of the first encounter with the Lifestyle Car Club members and being hit with a ball by then President, Joe Ray.
