Spearman is a writer, professor, and registered nurse whose work explores consciousness, anomalous experience, and the psychological upheaval that can follow encounters with the unknown. Through her writing, she suggests that UFO encounters and other anomalies may act less like isolated events and more like catalysts—experiences that shatter consensus reality and force us into a deeper inquiry about mind, meaning, and the nature of the universe.
