Week 14 FanDuel 12-6-19 Dec 07, 2019

Show notes

Does any QB match Deshaun Watson's outlook on FanDuel this week? The RB picture looks pretty clear, though the field gets more crowded if you're picking a 3rd for the flex spot. A couple of reliable WR1s draw our focus, but they'll also require some salary relief. And that just might come at TE.

Here are the picks:

QB ... 3:17

RB ... 7:35

WR ... 12:55

TE ... 16:51

Flex ... 21:00

Defense ... 23:39

Week 14 DraftKings 12-6-19 Dec 07, 2019

Show notes

The QB options are plentiful. The RB menu presents options at various levels. There's help available for fitting in the high-priced WRs we're targeting. And there seems to be a pretty clear target zone at TE. Oh, and Matt won't shut up about his favorite defense for the week.

(And yeah, Jared sounds like he's on the phone. We're working through some stuff.)

QB ... 3:00

RB ... 7:08

Week 12 FanDuel 11-22-19 Nov 22, 2019

Show notes

Is it possible to avoid Matt Ryan in cash on FanDuel this week? For a GPP, Jared's so in love with Baker Mayfield that he's ready to fight the FanShare projections. RB looks tougher than most weeks ... unless you're ready to spend up. But affordable WRs could help.

Let's get to the picks:

QB ... 2:25

RB ... 6:39

WR ... 11:50

TE ... 14:56

Week 12 DraftKings 11-22-19 Nov 22, 2019

Show notes

Is Matt letting his personal bias push him too much toward 1 particular QB in a wide-open week at the position? Either way, the wealth of options there can help you navigate a tougher week for RBs and defenses. And the combo of pricing and matchups at RB might make flexing a WR a good idea.

Let's get to the picks:

QB ... 2:22

RB ... 8:01

WR ... 12:20

TE ... 16:54

Flex ... 19:12

Defense ... 21:37

Week 12 Preview 11-21-19 Nov 22, 2019

Show notes

Football Outsiders' DVOA has Dallas as the league's most efficient offense and New England as the most efficient defense. Should you just keep Dak Prescott in your lineup or hit the waiver wire for a replacement? Even if you're not a Dak owner, tough matchups elsewhere could mean some surprising QB decisions. And this important week of fantasy action starts with a concentrated Buccaneers pass offense visiting a rejuvenated Falcons defense.

Here's the rundown:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons ... 00:28

Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles ... 6:48

Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns ... 12:32

New York Giants at Chicago Bears ... 15:21

Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints ... 20:13

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans ... 42:03

Defensive Look Ahead 11-19-19 Nov 19, 2019

Show notes

Three key Chiefs went down, as did a pair of Steelers wideouts and Marlon Mack. How should that affect your waiver-wire moves this week? Derrius Guice returned and might offer some help down the stretch. We'll look into him, some fringe QB starters and the 49ers offense on whole. It's also getting into time to set up our defenses for weeks ahead -- including the fantasy playoffs.

Here's the rundown:

Injuries and pickups ... 1:52

Derrius Guice's return ... 18:06

QB outlooks ... 22:44

Getting defensive ... 35:30
