Promoted as "the real live fun pets you grow yourself" Sea-Monkeys took the world by storm in the 1960s. Essentially brine shrimp delivered by mail after being advertised in comic books, it was marketing genius. Generation after generation were captivated by the idea of the little creatures but then in the late 1980s creator Harold von Braunhut's extremely controversial views came to light. Throw in X-Ray specs and a lawsuit over the Sea-Monkey fortune and you've got a wild story.

In 1990 some children uncovered an unmarked New England cemetery dating back to the 1800s. One of the graves was different from all the others and it's discovery was another piece in the puzzle of the New England Vampire Panic of the 18th and 19th centuries, tune in to hear the story!

Let's go back to the late 1800s, where a group of sisters decided to see if they could make some cash by putting on a stage show. If you like 'The Room' and anything that's so bad it's good, you'll love the Cherry Sisters.

I demand satisfaction, and challenge you to listen to this episode! U.S. Presidents, U.K. Prime Ministers, artists, writers and a man who liked to get naked have all been challenged to duels. Whether their choice of weapon was a hot air balloon or a set of billiard balls, this episode is dedicated to history's silliest duels.

The Wizard of Oz (1939) is an all time family classic, but its filming was a pretty awful time for the cast and crew! In this episode we go back to the origins of L Frank Baum's story (1900), talk about the original stage production (1902) and go through the cursed 1939 production before discussing how the film became a classic. Enjoy!
