Episode 149: G1 Hell of a Weekend Jul 08, 2019

Show notes

As a last minute surprise, a listener gave Michael an extra set of tickets to New Japan's G1 Climax 29 opening night event in Dallas! Between attending a VIP Wrestling show on Friday night (featuring Colt Cabana & Joey Ryan) & attending the G1, this episode is pretty Michael-heavy, with him detailing his perspective of seeing New Japan Pro Wrestling live for the very 1st time!

Episode 148: Yeah...About Last Week... Jun 30, 2019

Show notes

So Michael & Kevin owe everyone a huge apology, as there was no show last week, along with no announcement about it. Life happened, unlike anything in wrestling...until the day before they recorded this episode. The guys cover the surprise promotion/announcement that Paul Heyman & Eric Bischoff are becoming Executive Directors for Raw & SmackDown, respectively. They also discuss Seth Rollins going on the social media offensive on behalf of WWE, and dread the impending toxicity to come from this AEW/WWE "war."

Episode 147: A Quiet Place Jun 16, 2019

Show notes

It was an incredibly quiet week, as far as wrestling news is concerned. WWE was coming off of Super Showdown, which no one cared about (aside from Goldberg & Undertaker nearly accidentally killing each other, several times). There was a follow-up to the Ring of Honor fan interaction story...and that's pretty much it!

Episode 146: Sorry...Not Sorry Jun 06, 2019

Show notes

If an NXT TakeOver airs, but Michael & Kevin didn't watch it...did it actually happen? Well, of course it did, and of course they watched it. Some of it, anyways. The guys are surprised by an unexpected (to them) TakeOver. They also discuss a scary fan interaction at a Ring of Honor live event, and share an update on the health situation for one of Journey Pro's owners.

Episode 145: Card Subject to Change Jun 02, 2019

Show notes

Both guys entered the weekend with high hopes for attending their particular live shows, and both left gravely disappointed (for different reasons). Michael did enjoy his Sabotage Wrestling show in Austin, albeit missing the main reason he made the 4+ hour drive. Kevin, however, went to Raw & sat there for almost an hour before the 1st match even occurred!
The guys to take the time to cover AEW's 1st ever pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing, which happened in-between their wrestling shows, so it was kinda like a reverse Oreo!

Episode 144: Brock?!? AGAIN?!? May 25, 2019

Show notes

Are you f^&king kidding us with this?!? An incredibly, almost unprecedentedly, talented roster, a pretty solid showing up to this point, and Brock f^&king Lesnar wins Money in the Bank?!? F^&k that s#*t!
How about they talk about AEW's 1st pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing, happening this Saturday! The guys cover the entire card, some last minute match cancellations, and Kevin briefly discusses "adult stuff."

Episode 143: Game of Throwns May 19, 2019

Show notes

Not paying close attention to WWE means the PPVs sneak up on you something fierce! The guys had no idea that Money in the Bank was this weekend, but that didn't stop them from going over the card anyways. They also have a lengthy discussion about a story of frustration within WWE (Surprise there, amirite?), show some support for Journey Pro's ownership team having a medical emergency, the announcement of AEW's long-rumored TV deal, and a lot of loud opinions from dogs (which are relegated to the post-credits part of the show, if you're interested!).

Episode 142: Come Back to Texas, Kev! May 12, 2019

Show notes

Kevin made the trip down to Dallas for Fan Expo Dallas & Texas Frightmare Weekend. While here, Michael took advantage of the opportunity to show Kev some of what Texas wrestling is all about! While Kev wasn't able to attend the VIP Wrestling show, the both of them did go to Metroplex Wrestling's event.

Special: Journey Pro - A Means to an End May 08, 2019

Show notes

Walter was unable to join the show, so Ben brings fellow Journey Pro co-owner DJ Stewart to fill his spot. The guys recap their experience from "Rise Above," and Ben & DJ get everyone hyped for "A Means to an End!" There are also amazing & terrible takes about fast food burger joints (Don't listen to Ben)!
