    CM and Josh are back with a bonus episode where we talked to actress, writer, filmmaker, and film programmer, Julia Marchese. Julia recently acquired the rights to her very own Dollar Baby, the short story "I Know What You Need", which can be found in Night Shift. Join us as we discuss Julia's unique plan for this film, her love of all things Stephen King, other horror favorites, and her Indiegogo campaign! Julia Marchese is a filmmaker, actor, podcaster, cinephile and film programmer living in Hollywood, California. Her first film was the award winning documentary Out of Print about the importance of revival cinema and 35mm exhibition to culture, and she is currently the co-host of the popular horror podcast Horror Movie Survival Guide. She is currently fundraising for her Dollar Baby short film "I Know What You Need", based on Stephen King's story of the same name from Night Shift. The campaign runs until October 24,2020.     Josh and CM got the opportunity recently to sit down with Filmmaker, Ian Klink. Ian was the recipient of a “Dollar Baby” for “The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands”. Join us as we discuss where his Stephen King fandom began, his passion for filmmaking, what the Dollar Baby process is like, the challenges of an adaptation, and what the process taught him. Enjoy as Derry Public Radio interviews Ian Klink. Ian Klink was born in Camanche, Iowa and grew up in several cities from river to river in Iowa. After graduating in 2003 from North Scott High School in Eldridge, Iowa he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Aurora University and his Master of Arts in Film and Television from Savannah College of Art and Design. As a filmmaker and artist, he has directed films and theatre, many throughout the Quad City area, including his thesis film adaption of Stephen King’s ‘The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands’ and recently ‘No Exit’ on stage. Currently he is filming the feature film ‘Any Woman’s Blues.’ Klink shares his talents as a teacher of digital media design and film and video production at MOT Charter High School in Middletown, Delaware.
