He is currently working in production with Academy Award winning producer Andrew Carlberg on the short film North Star (starring Kevin Bacon, Colman Domingo, Laura Innes). Stephen is a Chicago-based writer/director best known for the 2015 microbudget horror/comedy "Killer Piñata." He started his career working for the Syfy Channel on titles like "Man with the Screaming Brain" and "Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys." His horror screenplay "Welshgate" finaled at the Austin Film Festival and was optioned for production. He's currently prepping "Bride of the Killer Piñata" and writing his all-ages comic book "GR-8."
