S05E10 – How to Build Up Your Faith Nov 28, 2022

Show notes

This week is part two of the Jude series. Pastor Joby, Britt and Vinke continue through the letter from Jude. Last week was about the reality of the need to contend for the faith against the Enemy. This week, we look at Jude's instruction on how to live that out.
"The call to contend is the call to gospel living and kingdom advancing, and also defending against the attacks that come in the loud lies of the cultural narrative." – Pastor Ryan Britt

20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. – Jude v. 20-21

S05E09 – Kept For Christ Nov 21, 2022

Show notes

This week’s episode is a deep dive into Jude as we kick off a two-week series in the second to last book of the New Testament. Relevant today as it was when it was written, this episode breaks down what was happening at that time and how it relates to our lives today.

Jude’s letter serves as a warning to the church at a time when the church was full of false teachers, religious extortion and theological wolves who were preying on God’s beloved sheep. Jude was having none of it. It seems his desire and calling were to expose falsehood and sin. He exposed false teachers, faulty thinking, and sin, all while making known the truth to God’s church.

S05E08 – Take Hold of True Life Nov 14, 2022

Show notes

It's the last week of the 10:10 Life series and Pastor Joby talks with Pastors Britt and Vinke about what it means to be rich toward God.
Every blessing is a gift from the Lord. Do you recognize the blessings that God pours out for you?
Money is given to us in honor to glorify God, and one way to do that is to bring your first and best to the Lord. Another way is to use it to bless someone else. It's living a life of generosity in response to the gospel.
18 They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19 thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life. – 1 Timothy 6:18-19

If you’re not on the go…are you with Him?
