Arranging Bed Pillows like a Pro Nov 03, 2017

ARRANGING BED PILLOWS can be a bit controversial!!! Lots of pillows piled high or only sleeping pillows! Euro pillows or standard pillows? How many decorative pillows? Or do you throw a few pillows on the bed and call it a day?

We love bed pillows!!!!

Today we are talking about our favorite ways to arrange pillows on our bed.

Put a big basket in your bedroom to collect your bed pillows while you are sleeping.

We are all fans of Eruo pillows!!!! Euro shams come in various sizes so be careful you know what size they are.

Here are sizes for euro shams... standard sizes: 26 x 26... king 36 x 36

Use 2 king size pillows on a queen size bed. They will cover the length of the queen bed.

If you like fluffy pillows use inserts that are one size bigger than the pillow cover. What a difference it will make!

Don't forget to add a little throw at the end of the bed to balance the pillows!

Here's a secret for a fluffy designer looking duvet, double your duvet insert. It's a little heavy to sleep with but if your duvet is more decorative go for it! It will make your bed look stunning!

Use your old curtains and duvet covers and make pillows!

You can use a duvet cover without the insert as a bedspread. It looks beautiful!

Decorating Your Dining Room Table Oct 30, 2017

Likely the biggest horizontal surface you have in your house needs decor ~ your dining room table!

We have tips, tricks & inspiration for you to create beauty on your table in between family dinners & guests.

Bottom line go BIG, but don't miss all the other lines, especially that exclamation by Anita! Take a seat & let's talk dining room table decor...

This episode is about making a decor statement on your dining room table when you are not dining. What to put there when your table is 'idle", which for many of us is most of the time.

Go big on this large surface, but be mindful of interfering with your light fixture.

Yvonne uses a chippy vintage shutter to add charm and to mask a table she had fallen out of love with, but had to keep for a few more years. Listen up mahogany table peeps. See it HERE

What To Do For Christmas Now Oct 27, 2017

Oh yes, we can walk and chew gum. We can also celebrate Halloween and Thanksgiving and do things for Christmas!!!

Christmas is so much better if we do not stress about all the things that need to get done and instead we plan and take the time Christmas deserves. Friends, planning is the key to a happy and stress-less Christmas season!!!!!

Organization and planning is the key to enjoying Christmas!!!

Now is the time to purge and get rid of Christmas things you have not used in a couple years! Bless others with them!

Useful, pretty - less is more... These words come to mind when we talk about what is and what should be on our & your kitchen countertops.
Let's head to the kitchen and see what's there...

We are talking tops today, but while we are at it HERE is a post on what our countertops are made of and the pros & cons.

Tip of the day for kitchen counters - storage can, and should be decorative, listen in to get all our pretty storage ideas for the countertop.
