EPISODE 104: The Vanishing of Caitlyn Case Apr 30, 2025

Show notes

In August of 2022, 33-year-old Caitlyn Case packed up her newly purchased SUV and hit the road — driving solo from her hometown in Louisiana to start a fresh chapter in Colorado. She was hopeful, connected, and checking in with family every step of the way… until suddenly, she wasn’t.

Hours into the trip, Caitlyn called her father — lost, disoriented, and struggling with faulty GPS and dead zones in rural Texas. Then her phone went dark. Days later, her vehicle was found teetering at the edge of a 75-foot cliff, deep in the woods of Oklahoma — a state she never should have entered.

Caitlyn was gone.

What followed was a baffling investigation full of wrong turns, mysterious sightings, missing 911 calls, and the chilling suspicion that someone else was in the driver’s seat.

This is the story of a road trip that spiraled into a haunting mystery — one that her family is still trying to solve.

This is the story of Caitlyn Case.

EPISODE 100: The Murder of Andrea DelVesco Apr 02, 2025

Show notes

It started like any other early morning in Westwood—quiet, a little hazy, the air still heavy with sleep. But by the time the sun rose over UCLA’s sorority row on September 21, 2015, the neighborhood was in chaos.

An apartment was on fire.

A young woman was missing.

And within hours, it became clear—this wasn’t an accident. It was a murder, hidden behind the smoke.

This is the story of Andrea DelVesco—a 21-year-old UCLA senior whose life was taken in the most violent, senseless way. A story about how it happened, who failed her, and how a red Snuggie and a set of speakers unraveled it all.

BONUS: FROM THE FARM TO BIG PHARMA Mar 19, 2025

Show notes

🚨 BONUS EPISODE ALERT! 🚨

Okay, so there’s no true crime in this episode—unless we count what Big Pharma is doing to people who rely on GLP-1 medications (which, honestly, might be criminal).

But first, let’s talk about something beautiful, life-changing, and deeply moving—The Biggest Little Farm. If you haven't seen this documentary, stop what you're doing and watch it immediately. I had the absolute honor of speaking to the creator and star, John Chester, for Jim Breuer’s podcast (bc Jim let me jump in thankfully), and WOW. This documentary wrecked me in the best way possible, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Then, we take a hard left into my current rage spiral over the crackdown on GLP-1’s. As of today—March 19—compounded versions of meds like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Zepbound are officially off the table, leaving thousands (millions?) of people, including me, completely screwed. I break down why this matters, why it’s infuriating, and how I ended up talking to NPR about it.

So if you want to hear me go from emotional documentary praise to full-blown righteous fury in under an hour—this one’s for you. Enjoy the chaos. 🎧

xoxo,

Margot 💀✨😘
