Alyson Chapman is a character who loves a good yarn. A salt of the earth type who would open her door and go out of her way to make you feel welcome.

And as you'll hear in this episode, she's the kind of mother that does the late night teenage party pick up runs, risks excess baggage to deliver her son a pair of shoes, and loves nothing more than helping out her friends and family (whether that's cleaning your house and taking care of your kids or making sure you've got a drinking buddy).

And we go deep into what it was like for Karen moving through her own grief, after Chumpy passed, whilst doing her best to carry Ellidy's grief too.

Friendship Therapy with Dr Trav May 16, 2023

Running a business with your bestie is no joke. Doing it with the crazy busy schedule Chloe and Ellidy have, while navigating grief, and raising a small human, in opposite time zones can make it even more tricky.

It takes solid healthy boundaries, patience and understanding, and good open and honest communication… and while Chloe and Ellidy are great at the communication, there’s some other areas of their relationship (personal and business wise) that could use a little helping hand… which is why they’ve enlisted Dr Trav’s help for their first official ‘friendship therapy’ session.

Chumpy’s Sperm Retrieval: The FULL Story Apr 25, 2023

In this week’s episode we pull back the curtain on how our precious little Minnie-Moo came to be.
Chloe and Ellidy share the entire back story and we chat with almost everyone involved in this utterly life changing procedure. Hear where it all began, with Laura and Chloe walking us step by step through how the idea formed on that fateful day, and what was involved in making it possible.
Then, the team responsible for bringing Minnie to life join us… from the woman who answered the desperate phone call from Chloe and set the wheels in motion… to Dr Andrew Davidson, the obstetrician-gynaecologist infertility specialist responsible for the sperm retrieval and IVF… and Dr Davidson’s wife, Louise – the fertility nurse who held Chumpy’s hand during the procedure and speaks of how she really felt his spirit was present in those moments.

This is such a touching episode. Be ready to tear up, be completely wowed and learn all about posthumous sperm retrieval.

30s and Beyond... and a Time Capsule Reveal Apr 18, 2023

In this episode, Chloe and Ellidy reflect on where they thought they'd be, versus where they've found themselves. And they look to the future, chatting about their hopes and dreams for life beyond their 30s. They also find an old time capsule that was created in 2015, with their group of friends, and reveal the contents. Then, they give you a series of questions so that you can go ahead and create your very own time capsule.

Here are your instructions. Mark up a sheet of paper with the following questions:

Today’s date
Current outfit of choice
Song that’s on repeat
What do you currently do for work?
What do you hope to be doing for work in 5 years?
Three goals
Three things you enjoy doing daily?
Something you want to say to your future self?
Last big headline that really caught your attention?

Place your answers somewhere safe (like your undie draw) and open in 5 years for a LOL, or a cry.
