Show notes
In this 103rd in a series of live discussions with Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying (both PhDs in Biology), we discuss the state of the world through an evolutionary lens.
What does Francis Collins (head of the NIH) have to say about truth, midwifery, gain of function research, and how to end the pandemic? We then discuss the strangely similar official responses to three different substances that have been suggested as treatment for or prophylaxis against Covid: hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and vitamin D. We talk about unnamed experts, and how they became so confident. We discuss the vaccination, and subsequent death, of giraffes in a zoo. And we discuss the situation of an elite young cross-country athlete whose family has to make a very difficult choice.
