    Bruce Lipton May 05, 2022
    Show notes

Bruce H. Lipton, PhD is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. Stem cell biologist, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award, he has been a guest speaker on hundreds of TV and radio shows, as well as keynote presenter for national and international conferences. Dr. Lipton began his scientific career as a cell biologist. He received his Ph.D. Degree from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville before joining the Department of Anatomy at the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine in 1973. Dr. Lipton’s research on muscular dystrophy, studies employing cloned human stem cells, focused on the molecular mechanisms controlling cell behavior. An experimental tissue transplantation technique developed by Dr. Lipton and colleague Dr. Ed Schultz (published in the journal Science) was subsequently employed as a novel form of human genetic engineering. In 1982, Dr. Lipton began examining the principles of quantum physics and how they apply to his understanding of the cell’s information processing systems. He produced breakthrough studies on the cell membrane, which revealed that this outer layer of the cell was an organic homologue of a computer chip—the cell’s equivalent of a brain. His research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine, between 1987 and 1992, revealed that the environment, which operated via the cell membrane, controlled the behavior and physiology of the cell, turning genes on and off. Dr. Lipton’s discoveries, which ran counter to the established scientific view that life is controlled by genes, gave rise to one of today’s most important fields of study: the science of epigenetics. Two major scientific publications derived from these studies defined the molecular pathways connecting the mind and body. Many subsequent papers by other researchers have since validated his concepts and ideas. Dr. Lipton’s novel scientific approach transformed his personal life as well. His deepened understanding of cell biology highlighted the mechanisms by which the mind controls bodily functions and implied the existence of an immortal spirit. He applied this science to his personal biology and improved not only his physical well-being, but also the quality and character of his daily life. Dr. Lipton has taken his award-winning medical school lectures to the public. As a highly sought-after keynote speaker and workshop presenter, he lectures to conventional and complementary medical professionals as well as to lay audiences about leading-edge science and how it dovetails with mind-body medicine and spiritual principles. He has been heartened by anecdotal reports from hundreds of former audience members who have improved their spiritual, physical and mental well being by applying the principles he discusses in his lectures. He is regarded as one of the leading voices of the new biology.

After meeting her Soul during an out-of-body experience, she uncovered an ability to see and communicate with the Soul-energy of others, including Souls who have crossed over. She teaches others how to connect to the still-small voice of intuition to access their ultimate and eternal Love self. Her worldwide private practice, which grew by word of mouth, consists of thousands of clients, who she works with by merging her background in depth psychology with an ability to directly communicate with the Soul. While living in India, Adam Foley found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, trapped in the center of a large-scale terrorist bombing. He wrestled with the injustice of fate after surviving this experience while others did not. As the lone American at the scene, news stories highlighted his nationality, which brought unwanted attention from the terrorists and ultimately compromised his personal safety. Seeking anonymity and existential answers, he traveled India, trained with world-renowned gurus and became a certified somatic practitioner and yoga instructor. Yet it wasn’t until Adam met Elisa that he experienced himself as a Soul and understood the eternal nature of love. As a healer, he uses spiritual coaching, somatic healing and his own intuitive abilities to connect people to their Soul. Together, they help individuals awaken and deepen their soulful nature within relationship. As married parents of two, Elisa and Adam use practical stories from the trenches of everyday life, their personal spiritual experiences and examples from their work with thousands of couples to teach sacred partnership. They teach that the spiritual journey can be as simple–– and profound––as getting closer to the people we love. With relationship as a spiritual path, we discover that instead of giving or receiving love, we become love itself. They host the popular spiritual podcast, Holy & Human. Hailed as being both sacred and relatable, they are known for making esoteric topics, practical and accessible. They help modern-day mystics remember and reunite with the all-loving, always-present, wise Source of their being. Dr. Steven Gundry has worked in medicine for over 40 years. Probably best known for his work as a cardiothoracic surgeon and heart surgeon… but today he is focusing on something very different: Teaching people how to avoid surgery by using his unique vision of human nutrition. His mission is to improve your health, happiness, and longevity by making simple changes to your diet. Director and Founder of the International Heart & Lung Institute as well as the Center for Restorative Medicine in Palm Springs and Santa Barbara, CA. Every day at these offices, Dr. Gundry helps patients learn how to take control of their weight, health, and energy by using his surprisingly simple diet advice. He began his surgical residency at the University of Michigan. While there, he was chosen to participate in a prestigious research program run by the National Institutes of Health. This is where his love of scientific research was born. He was one of the first 20 surgeons to test the implantable left ventricular assist device, a type of artificial heart. He also helped pioneer the use of robots for minimally-invasive heart surgery. He holds the record for the longest-surviving pig-to-baboon heart transplant – a procedure called xenotransplantation. Dr. Gundry and colleague Leonard Bailey, performed more infant and pediatric heart transplants than anyone else in the world. Dr. Gundry operated in more than 30 countries – including charitable missions to China, India, and Zimbabwe. He published over 300 articles or book chapters on cardiac surgery as well as on nutritional breakthroughs dealing with high cholesterol, heart disease, and hypertension. In 2001, He met a so-called “hopeless” patient suffering from heart disease. By making some unusual changes in his diet — almost by chance — this man made a complete turnaround. Eventually Dr. Gundry was able to give him the quadruple bypass surgery that has kept him alive to this day. In working with him, he made some major discoveries that changed the course of my career. He learned what nutrients were deficient in the American Diet, and which of our “staple” foods were actually toxic to the human body.
