Episode 9 - The Dinosaur Base Nov 07, 2022

Show notes

In this episode, the main character (Your child) creates a base on the dinosaur planet and meets some new friends. Lots of dinosaur content in this one. Use the white noise at the end to get to sleep! Now available anywhere you get your podcasts. Help me out by following and/or rating the show. Comment on what you want to see happen next. If you like an episode, it goes a long way to share it on social media. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100087924908464 Write to me at dad.bedtimestories@gmail.com About The Podcast: Kids won’t sleep? Want some time to yourself? This is how to make it happen! I make these bedtime stories up for my own children every night, so I figured I would record them. They are designed to give your child a simple, but somewhat interesting story to listen to. They are first person stories so kids can imagine themselves in the character’s shoes. They are mostly science fiction and fantasy based, because that’s what my kids like. Each episode is a 10-15 minute story followed by white noise to drown out distractions. The character always ends up back in bed, doing a short mindful relaxation exercise to help them off to sleep (if they aren’t there already). Get those kids to sleep! Most episodes revolve around a kid with a magical spaceship that can transform into anything. He eventually finds a shapeshifting alien dog named changer, and they go on all kinds of adventures, both on earth, and far beyond. There are dinosaurs, dragons, magic, and lots and lots of robots! Episode 8 - The Return to Dino Planet Nov 06, 2022

Show notes

In this episode, the main character (your child) goes back to dinosaur planet. I almost forgot about dinosaur planet. Play this for your kids, scratch their backs, and get out of there while the getting is good. The white noise is there for a reason. Now available anywhere you get your podcasts. Episode 7 - The Tree House Nov 05, 2022

Show notes

In this Episode, the main character (your child) uses the seed from the alien planet to grow an alien tree. Even when I was coming up with it, I was fully aware that actually doing something like this would be an absolutely idiotic idea. I went along with it anyways. Suspension of disbelief and all. I hope you like my voices. Now available anywhere you get your podcasts. Help me out by following and/or rating the show. Comment on what you want to see happen next. Episode 6 - The Alien Planet Nov 05, 2022

Show notes

In this episode, the main character (your child) visits an alien planet. If you don't believe in global warming, you might get angry with this one. There are some light themes around taking care of our own planet before we destroy ourselves and that sort of thing. I hope it distracts your child long enough for you to get out of there and spend some time alone. Cheers! Now available anywhere you get your podcasts. Episode 5 - The Alien Invasion Nov 04, 2022

Show notes

In this episode, all of the people on Earth are abducted by aliens. Don't worry though. It turns out just fine. That being said, you might want to skip this one for some children. In this visualization, I ask your kid to imagine themself waking up, and all the people on earth are gone. Honestly, I don't know what I was thinking. I am pretty sure I turn it around at the end. Again, I make these up on the spot. Now available anywhere you get your podcasts. Help me out by following and/or rating the show. Comment on what you want to see happen next. Episode 4 - The Class Trip Nov 03, 2022

Show notes

In this episode, the main character (your child) takes his entire class on a field trip to the Dino Planet. The teacher doesn't really ask questions for some reason. I am fairly certain no field trip forms were signed. Don't think about it too much. Now available anywhere you get your podcasts. Help me out by following and/or rating the show. Episode 3 - The Dino Planet - UPDATED! Nov 02, 2022

Show notes

In this episode, the main character (your child) visits a planet where dinosaurs exist. Why dinosaurs you ask? Because my son loves dinosaurs. Just accept it. I might be making these up, but a lot of the content is because of the demands of my son over the years. I give him what he needs to get to bed and leave me alone for a few hours. I hope it works for your child too. Support me on Patreon: https://patreon.com/user?u=95723868 Now available anywhere you get your podcasts. Help me out by following and/or rating the show. Episode 2 - The Lava Planet - Updated! | Kids Bedtime Stories Nov 01, 2022

Show notes

In this episode, the main character (your child) has to recover an energy crystal from a lava planet. Easier said than done. This episode features lots of talk about lava, and lava related monsters. I pretty much make these up on the spot, so enjoy the fruits of my sci fi saturated brain at work. Again at the end there is white noise. Take that time to make your escape and enjoy some well-deserved time to yourself. Why should every parent have to tell their kids stories when I can do it for you?
