Episode 126 - This and That (fire lizards, dinosaurs, giants and giant robots) | Bedtime Story for Kids Jul 06, 2023

Show notes

In this episode, which was completely made up on the spot, the main character (your child) heads off to find a new planet for the fire chameleons. They end up in Atlantis, ride some dinosaurs, and even turn into giants. I hope it finds the right balance of keeping your kids entertained, but not keeping them awake. Let me know! Want some time to yourself? This is how to make it happen! I make these bedtime stories up for my own children every night, so I figured I would record them. They are designed to give your child a simple, but somewhat interesting story to listen to. They are first person stories so kids can imagine themselves in the character’s shoes. They are mostly science fiction and fantasy based, because that’s what my kids like. Each episode is a 10-15 minute story followed by white noise to drown out distractions. The character always ends up back in bed, doing a short mindful relaxation exercise to help them off to sleep (if they aren’t there already). Get those kids to sleep! Most episodes revolve around a kid with a magical spaceship that can transform into anything. He eventually finds a shapeshifting alien dog named changer, and they go on all kinds of adventures, both on earth, and far beyond. There are dinosaurs, dragons, magic, and lots and lots of robots! #Spaceship #kidsbedtimestories #bedtimestoriesforkids #dinosaurs #dragons #unicorns #magic Mentioned in this episode: Dad's Bedtime Coloring Book

Wizard Craft - Part 3 - Chapters 11-15 - Minecraft-like bedtime stories for kids Jul 03, 2023

It follows a protagonist who is sucked into a video game that is a mix between various survival and fantasy games. Think Minecraft meets Skyrim. Each episode will be 4 or 5 chapters of the story. The main character will gain magical powers, powerful equipment, friends, and allies, all while building and expanding a settlement of their own. The novel is a co-creation between me and Chat GPT. I have been training Chat GPT to write the novel, chapter by chapter. I do the thinking, ideas, and world building, and it does the lion’s share of the writing (at least the first draft). Wizard Craft - Part 1 - Episodes 1-5 | Bedtime Stories for Kids Jun 27, 2023

Show notes

This is the first venture in a new series called Wizard Craft. In the first few episodes, the main character is sucked into a video game that is very similar to some you may be familiar with (like minecraft). Don't fret though. The Spaceship Series is not over. There will be more to come from both worlds in the future. Write to be about which one you like most.
