The Skeleton Costume - A Magic Costume Tree Adventure Oct 28, 2025

Show notes

I wouldn't call this one spooky, but it certainly does involve a lot of bones! You go back to the Magic Costume Tree and put on a skeleton costume that turns you into a living skeleton that can fly around, send different body parts in different directions, and summon bones from the garbage to form into different things. You use the powers to scare away a bully, and generally just creep people out. It is a bit of a strange one honestly. Thank you to Levi for the idea! About The Magic Costume Tree - The Magic Costume Tree always appears to those in need of a little adventure. Inside, you can find all sorts of different costumes, each imbued with a special power. Want some time to yourself? This is how to make it happen! I make these bedtime stories up for my own children every night, so I figured I would record them. They are designed to give your child a simple, but somewhat interesting story to listen to. They are first person stories so kids can imagine themselves in the character’s shoes. They are mostly science fiction and fantasy based, because that’s what my kids like. Each episode is a 15-30 minute story followed by white noise to drown out distractions. The character always ends up back in bed, doing a short mindful relaxation exercise to help them off to sleep (if they aren’t there already). Get those kids to sleep! Luckily for you, you come across a new friend - Bennet and his Earth Dragon, Granite. Can your combined power allow you to escape?
