    Dad the Man

Do you have the skills you need to love and lead your family from the front?

My name is Brendan Wall. I am a father of four and married to my best friend. I started this podcast not because I have all the answers, but because I am in search of them. We have one opportunity to be the best men, husbands, and fathers that we can be, and I plan to seize it.

At DAD THE MAN we interview guys we all know and admire professionally, but more importantly, are setting the tone for what a great man, husband, and father looks like. Guys who seize the opportunity before them to love and lead their families from the front, from a place of opportunity not obligation. This is Dad the Man. This is who we all aspire to become. Every single week, you can expect to hear from household names like JORDAN SPIETH, TIM KENNEDY, ERIC DECKER, SEAN LOWE, STIPE MIOCIC, DAVID MELTZER, DR MICHAEL GERVAIS, STAN EFFERDING, MARK BELL, DREW MANNING, DR JOSH AXE, DR JOHN DELONY, ROBB WOLF, JASON KHALIPA, TODD ABRAMS, LEW CARALLA, BERT SORIN, JOHN ELDREDGE, HEATH EVANS, DANIEL CARLSON, YOGI ROTH, PETER BURNS, CARLOS REYES, and many more represent what DAD THE MAN stands for.

As men, husbands, and fathers, we experience and struggle with so many of the same things, and it’s time we recognize that we are all in this together. If you are looking for more purpose, passion, connection, success, and camaraderie in your life, then you are in the right place.

    Welcome to DAD THE MAN

He played college football at Defiance and began his coaching journey by doing summer internships at USF and Virginia while in school. After graduating, he worked as a GA at Mississippi State. Lew took social media by storm earlier this year as high level performers in all facets of life began to discover and share his weekly messages. In digging into Lew’s messages on Instagram, I love the way he is able to teach principles and values that can be applied for success in all areas of life. He’s down to earth, humble as hell, and takes every opportunity to lead from the front. He walks the walk and paves a path for others to follow. He’s the kind of coach that I would be honored to have my kids play for. And on top of all that, Lew is an incredible man, husband, and father, which is why I am so thankful I had the opportunity to speak with him.

003 PETER BURNS of SEC Network Sep 07, 2021
    Show notes

Peter Burns is a studio host for SEC Network, where he regularly hosts the show SEC Now. In addition to his studio role on SEC Network, Burns has provided analysis as a course reporter on SEC Network’s live coverage of various sporting events, contributing to studio programming across all ESPN networks, including The Paul Finebaum Show, College Football Live and SportsCenter, and recently serving as a commentator on PGA Championship coverage on ESPN+. Prior to joining SEC Network he was the host of The Press Box on Mile High Sports Radio based in Denver, which was syndicated on several stations across the region and simulcast through a partnership with the Denver Post. Before moving to Denver, he co-hosted Fox Fantasy Freaks on Fox Sports Radio for five years beginning in 2008, which grew into a three-hour year-round program that was syndicated in over 100 cities nationwide. One thing I appreciate most about Peter is his raw humility, which contrasts his younger self who he isn't shy to say at times wasn't necessarily known for this quality. Despite being a king in the world of sports, you can't deny the humility and gratitude that shines through when you speak with Peter. He's an objective and rational thinker, gifted communicator, and has never shied away from taking ownership in all areas of his life. But above it all, Peter is a phenomenal man, husband, and father, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to chat with him.
