Transgenderism, Homophobia and Self-Hatred with Calvin Lunt Jul 26, 2023

On this episode of Cylinder Radio, I speak with Calvin Lunt, a young man from the UK who formerly lived as a trans-woman and has since transitioned back to living as his birth gender. Calvin shares the story of how spirituality and self-discovery helped him come to terms with himself and finally break free from the masks he wore to escape from his own self-hatred.

He shares the story of his childhood, how we slowly stepped into the world of drag and with time, started identifying as transgender. He talks about desire to keep running from himself and taking his escapism to higher and higher extremes. He then touches on his experience with transitioning and how he finally realised that he wasn't actually a trans woman , he was a gay man.

Lastly, we discuss the dangers of socially rewarding LGBTQ children, whether puberty blockers are really irreversible and if pushing transgenderism is actually an ingrained form of homophobia.

During our conversation, we speak about Ben's story of Crouzon Syndrome and how we became the person he is today. We talk about moving from victim to victor and how to adopt a mindset that empowers us to see our disadvantages and hardships as superpowers.

Ben shares how wrestling allowed him to thrive and outgrow any victim mentality as well as how proper parenting should empower any child to find strength within their perceived limitations.

In this episode of Cylinder Radio, my guest is Alice Crenshaw. Alice works for Equal Means Equal, an organization that is dedicated to the publication of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), which I don't think is talked about enough.

During our conversation, we talk about why the Equal Rights Amendment is needed today and how it would protect everyone's rights regardless of gender. We explore various different viewpoints and arguments for and against the ERA, such as the abortion issue, men's paternity cases, transgender issues and the gender pay gap. We also talk a lot about how the military is actually much more progressive and diverse than most people give it credit for.

In this episode of Cylinder Radio, I talk to a close friend of mine about her journey from being pro-choice and having abortions herself to being fully pro-life today.

In the episode, Michelle tells the story of how she went from being a passionate pro-choice advocate to changing her mind and being pro-life. She talks about her own experience with having multiple abortions, everything that she wasn't told, what the procedures were like and how much of an emotional toll it took on her.

We discuss how her past/childhood contributed to her being "broken" and how faith helped her heal and arrive where she is today. We also get into the nuance of abortion in situations of disabilities and other genetic factors as well as explore what we can do to minimize abortions overall.
