"The Israel-Hamas War - An In-Depth Conversation with Dan Raviv" Oct 28, 2023
    Show notes

With the backdrop of rocket-filled skies over the Holy Land, Dan Raviv, an expert on Israel and the Middle East, engages in a profound conversation with Star Parker. They delve into the contentious issue of Israel's historical and Biblical claim to the land, tracing it back to ancient times.

In 1947, the United Nations took a historic step by endorsing the creation of two states, Israel and Palestine, coexisting side by side. However, the surrounding Arab nations vehemently opposed this vision. Their refusal to accept the establishment of a Jewish state sparked aggressive wars by the Arab states, which coordinated their efforts to annihilate Israel.

During this candid conversation, Dan Raviv offers a thoughtful exploration of potential pathways to resolving the Israel-Hamas War, drawing from key historical events to shed light on the complex dynamics in the region.

Solutions for saving the country - Part 3 Oct 09, 2023

Another powerful line-up on CURE America this week with footage from the Center for Urban Renewal and Education's annual National Policy Summit that we held in Washington D.C. with pastors from all over the country. This week we highlight the remarks of former Ambassador to the United Nations and former Governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, and bring you the important panel discussion on homelessness from a previous summit.

Ambassador Haley's remarkable life as the daughter of an immigrant is only surpassed by her amazing career in public life. She shares many of her experiences with our pastors and especially the heart-wrenching story of the aftermath of the horrific shooting in a Charleston church where nine African Americans were killed during a Bible study. Gov. Haley served as governor and brought together faith leaders, community leaders and legislators to help the community come together in forgiveness and healing after this racist act.

While homelessness becomes a serious issue in many cities across the nation, we brought together some of the country's top policy leaders to explain why this is happening and offer solutions to this growing problem. Dr. Robert Marbut, former Executive Director of the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness; Michele Steeb, Senior Fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation; Frank Moncher, Executive Director of Catholic Charities in Arlington, VA; and Michael Tanner, Senior Fellow at the CATO Institute lead this important discussion.

The entire summit will be posted to our website www.curepolicy.org, in the next few weeks. Join us again next week for the final in this series from CURE's National Policy Summit.

"What ails us, as a society, is the fact that we are falling away from God," stated former Attorney General of the United States, William Barr, at the Center for Urban Renewal & Education's annual National Policy Summit this week in Washington D.C. The 3-day event brought together some of the nation's top policy leaders with more than 60 pastors from all over the country who are part of CURE's clergy network. At the summit, these faith leaders learned about key policy issues, collaborated with fellow pastors and were equipped to take the solutions back to their churches and communities. This week on CURE America with Star Parker, we highlight some wonderful parts of the summit focused on choice in education, getting our children out of government-run, union-controlled schools and to those that reflect the values of their parents. We feature AG Barr's remarks as well as part of our panel discussion on Educational Freedom with Michael Benjamin of American Federation for Children, Francesca Fontenot, and former NFL great and CURE board member Jack Brewer. Some of our pastors also share their experiences at the summit. Educational choice is just one of the many topics we addressed at CURE's National Policy Summit and we will be bringing you more in the following weeks on issues like police reform, homelessness and abortion. Please stay tuned for more powerful presentations.
