On November 3rd, 2006, 16-year-old Terressa Lynn Vanegas was found dead in a puddle across Dickenson High School in Texas. She was last seen leaving a Halloween party a couple of nights before. Despite the investigation efforts this case continues to remain unsolved.

16-year-old Aranda Briones, a high school student from Moreno Valley, California, disappeared on January 13, 2019. The investigation revealed that Aranda was last seen with Owen Skyler Shover, a friend from high school. The two had a history together, including Aranda getting Owen expelled from high school.

On January 16th, 2022, Irene Luevano called her oldest daughter to tell her that her boyfriend: Jorge Quintero Lara had stabbed her in the neck. Her family called Phoenix police in an attempt to track her down. After 5 days of searching, Irene's body was found, she was stabbed multiple times. After being charged, Jorge was controversially offered a plea deal for the murder.

17-year-old Oscar Rangel was found dead outside a friend's house in Elmendorf, Texas on December 31st, 2020. His body was found in only a T-shirt and boxers, with a tranquilizer drug in his system. While Oscar's family was kept in the dark about the investigation, it wasn't until 3 years later that arrests were made.

In 1982, Joyce Tina Gallegos and Gabrielle DiStefano both disappeared and were found murdered in the same area. Although the cases occurred only weeks apart, investigators did not connect the two cases. In 2018, new investigators on the case believe they are connected because both young women were murdered with the same weapon.

10-year-old Amberly Mendoza was found dead in her home on the morning of March 9th,1996. Amberly's mother found her unresponsive in her bedroom. Investigators discovered that Amberly was sexually assaulted and the cause of death was asphyxiation. DNA was recovered from the scene, although the case remains unsolved.

On November 7, 2001, 10-year-old Bianca Lebron vanished after getting into a van outside her elementary school in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Witnesses say that she left willingly with a man she called her "uncle", but her family knew no one who fit the description. Despite extensive searches and nationwide media coverage, Bianca has never been found.

On June 23rd, 1997, Kristen Modafferi, an 18-year-old college student disappeared. Kristen was ambitious and before starting school she decided to take a summer to move to San Francisco for a photography course at UC Berkeley. She set herself up with two jobs and found a place to rent. She was last seen after finishing her shift at a coffee shop in the Crocker Galleria mall, where she reportedly spent time with an unidentified blonde woman.

Yanira Cedillos, a 30-year-old mother of three from Moses Lake, Washington, was murdered in March 2022, after celebrating her birthday. Her ex-boyfriend, Juan Gastelum, is accused of the crime, facing charges of second-degree murder and rape. Two months later, her body was found.

Eyewitnesses saw three hooded men force her into a van and disappeared. The kidnappers demanded an unattainable ransom, and after a few scary calls with “proof of life” recordings, they went silent. Carmen’s family continues their search, trying to maintain hope.

Adrian Jones was a seven-year-old boy from Kansas City, Kansas. Adrian lived a life consisting of torture and starvation by his father, Michael Jones, and stepmother, Heather Jones. The abuse was relentless, including physical beatings, hunger, and being forced to stand in filthy water in a swimming pool during the cold months. In late 2015, after enduring months of torture, Adrian died. The case highlighted significant failures in the child welfare system.

In December 2018, after earning her bachelor's degree, Grace Millane took a gap year to travel the world. Grace regularly kept in touch with her family back home. During her travels, her birthday fell during her time in New Zealand. Although, after not getting a reply on her birthday they hadn't heard from Grace in three days. The investigation revealed the last time she was seen alive was with her Tinder date, Jesse Kempson.

On December 3rd, 2011, a 2-year-old girl named Priscilla Hernandez from Castroville, California, was found dead. An autopsy confirmed that she was beaten to death. David Leonardo brutally beat Priscilla to death, while initially pleading innocent but later pleading guilty and being sentenced to 15 years to life in prison. Against Priscilla's family's wishes, David has now been released on parole.. not serving his full sentence.

In 2002, 13-year-old Laura Ayala disappeared while walking a short distance from her Houston apartment to a convenience store to buy a newspaper. Her mother called the police after discovering her shoes and the newspaper scattered in a nearby parking lot. An intense search commenced, and through DNA evidence two suspects were identified.

In August 2013, 18-year-old Isabella Guzman brutally stabbed her mother, Yun Hi Moy, 79 times in their home in Aurora, Colorado. Leading up to the murder, there was continued tension and hostility between Guzman and her mother, including a significant argument and a threatening note from Guzman that read, "You will pay." As the investigation progressed, Isabella's mental state became a key factor in understanding why the incident occurred.

On September 16th, 2004, Miami police received a phone call from Raul Mata reporting that his daughter had been murdered. 16-year-old Dilicia Mejia was murdered in her own home. No arrests were made at the time. It wasn't until 16 years later, detectives were able to figure out who murdered Dilcia.

At the young age of 5, Aida lost her father, and her mother was forced to move to Rio de Janeiro for work. At 18, finishing school, she was at the start of her life. However, her life was cut short tragically on July 18th, 1958, when she fell victim to murder.

However, her evening took a dark turn when she accepted a ride to a fast-food restaurant from a man, whom she and her friends had met earlier at the club.

On August 1st, 1998, Jayson Artis disappeared during his visit to Tijuana, Mexico, where he was celebrating his younger brother Steven Thomas's birthday. They became separated around 1:30 am. Two days later, Jayson's family received a call from the American Consulate informing them that he had been found dead. However, the results of the autopsy only left them with more questions than answers.

On August 2nd, 2013, while usually accompanied by a friend, she decided to go out on her daily jog on her own, on a path less than a block away from her home. Unfortunately, she did not come back from her jog and later that night her lifeless body was found.

Fast forward to 2014, the body of 13 year-old Maribel Gonzales was found but like Isabel's, her case went cold. It was until 2017 that by coincidence these two cases were linked and answers were found.
