So excited to have my friend Chad Bruckner on the show. Chad M. Bruckner is Managing Partner and Licensed Private Investigator at Pennsylvania-based Intercounty Investigations & Solutions — a one-stop shop for cutting-edge private investigations, background screens, law enforcement training, consultation and more.
Results matter, and after accruing high-level expertise via two decades of experience in law enforcement and the military, Chad is uniquely positioned to provide private citizens, corporate entities, law firms and government agencies with the solutions they require.
Detective. Undercover Officer. Background Investigator. Mobile Device Examiner. Lead Field Training Officer. Patrol Squad Leader. Chad held all those critical roles, and more, during a 13-year career in law enforcement serving a large borough in the Philadelphia suburbs. Having conducted more than 1,000 serious and often complex criminal investigations — including homicides, kidnappings, narcotics, fraud, sex crimes, and more — Chad developed and employed a razor-sharp set of skills to solve cases and elicit numerous confessions.
As a detective, Chad established a trailblazing Street Crimes Unit that solved 100% of all shootings and robberies within his police department’s jurisdiction during his tenure. The unit made over 250 felony drug arrests between 2012 and 2015, and was responsible for a 40% reduction in crime during that period. At the same time, Chad became a court-recognized expert in several disciplines — exceptionally valuable expertise that he now brings to his clients.
Prior to his law enforcement career, Chad served eight years in the United States Army. A combat veteran, he supervised more than 300 operations in Iraq as an Infantry Squad Leader. During his military service, Chad was recognized once as Battalion NCO of the Year and in 2004 had the distinct honor of being recognized as Brigade (approx. 4,000 soldiers) NCO of the year.
A certified police instructor who currently teaches a variety of courses to Police Academy cadets, Chad is also a trained volunteer with Police Crisis Intervention & Stress Management teams. One of his many missions is to serve first responders on the front lines and help reduce the stigma of mental health advocacy in first responders. Chad teaches courses designed to help individuals maximize their potential and chart a path for peak performance, leadership development and improved well-being.
Chad holds a master’s degree in Digital Forensics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from DeSales University.

A great interview.

On to Microcast Monday.

I was asked recently how I get through the challenges I am facing. My response is always the same. I believe that better days are ahead and I will be stronger and more resilient because of my challenges. And, I am putting forth the ACTION to make this happen for me. You have challenges too. We all do. What are you doing to change your circumstances? Are you hoping that things will get better? Hope is never a good strategy by itself. There has to be ACTION behind it.

You have to believe in yourself first, before anything can come to you. Visualization, Manifestation and Meditation are all good starts towards achieving your goals and dreams, but remember it all comes down to the INNER WORK first.

Go out and conquer your day and week and stay tuned for more great guests on The CJEvolution Podcast.

It was such an honor to have my next guest on the show, Michael Gier. Michael is an award-winning director/producer. He owns and runs Gier Productions, a Full-Service Global Film & Video Production Company. Michael produced and directed the award-winning documentary film – Wounded Heroes.

Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) among our veterans is a serious problem with over 20 veterans a day taking their lives by suicide. And just like veterans; firefighters, police officers, and other first responders not only deal with PTS, but they also have very high suicide rates. Most are given prescription drugs but as many have said, medication is just a band-aid over a wound that will never heal. Our Heroes deserve more than just a band-aid and so director/producer Michael Gier went on a mission and found successful alternative treatments that give anyone battling PTS their lives back. This award-winning film gives HOPE and literally saves lives.

A great and informative interview.

We all face problems, personally and professionally. Everyone has challenges including you. If you don't have any problems that you are struggling with then you are very lucky. Most people do. So, if you are one of those people my question to you is what are you doing to change your circumstances? Are you sitting on the sidelines waiting for something to fall into your lap? That doesn't happen.

If you are unhappy at work what are you going to do? If you are unhappy with your personal life, what are you going to do?

Such and honor to have Donna Brown on the show. She is a successful author, speaker and retired Police Sergeant.

In Donna’s own words.

I had an idea for a book for quite some time but never chose to put "pen to paper" until 2017. "Behind and Beyond the Badge" was born out of passion for all of the good, honest and hardworking law enforcement officers who put on the uniform each day. And that goes for all first responders. The book took two gold medals in nonfiction at the Florida Authors and Publishers Presidents Book awards, a national competition. With that and the overwhelmingly positive feedback I received I decided to write Volume II. People don't know what it's like to do the job but they truly want to know more. The books are a collection of stories about individuals who have done or are doing the job. Police officers, firefighters, dispatchers, EMTS/Paramedics, crime scene technicians and victim advocates. They have truly opened their hearts to let people in and talk about "the good, the bad and the ugly." Their stories might surprise you. In 2018, Volume I won gold medals in two non-fiction categories in the Florida Authors and Publishers President's Book Awards, a national competition. In 2019, Volume II was a finalist in Non-Fiction:True Crime in the International Book Awards and won two medals in the Florida Authors and Publishers President's Book Awards in Non-Fiction and Political/Current Events. Both Volume's are now available on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles in eBook, paperback and hardcover. Visit behindandbeyondthebadge.com for reviews and excerpts!

Donna and I hit on a lot of different topics in the law enforcement realm. From the challenges law enforcement faces, to developing the proper mindset.

Such a great show. You can find Donna here:
