In the quiet, rural village of Otway, Ohio, a community of just 87 people, a tragic story unfolded that would shock the nation. On January 10th, 2019, a beautiful baby boy named Dylan Groves entered the world, born one month premature. Weighing 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and measuring 19 inches long, Dylan should have been cradled with love and care, but from the moment of his birth, he was met with indifference. His mother, who was battling a crippling drug addiction, showed no interest in her newborn son, who was high on drugs and completely detached.

Dark Intentions: The Smith Family Aug 02, 2024

Show notes

A brutal, deadly attack on the Smith family was discovered on July 30, 2015, in Pensacola, Florida. Three family members, Voncile, Richard, and John Smith, were found beaten and bloodied and found under piles of clothes in the home. A police press conference was held with the shocking idea that this was the work of witchcraft, and what scared the community even more was that the killer was still at large, possibly looking for the next attack. When the media got their hands on the story, they got creative with their headlines, calling it the Blue Moon Murders or the Wiccan Sacrifice.
