This week, we check out a man who has kept large crowds on their toes, for decades. Whether it's diving off a 20 foot ladder onto their opponent, or being a spectacle in the local police files, he has always been one to watch! He has always been considered one of the best wrestlers, ever, but he never sticks around any promotion long enough to be the backbone, due to his constant drug/alcohol problems, and his general outright refusal to get help, even when his high paying job is on the line. He crashes, he paints himself, he can be a walking disaster! It's Jeff Hardy!!

Learn to sew when you're 9 years old, refuse any help, even if your job depends on it, and ride 105 feet down a roadside guardrail with Jeff Hardy!!

#321 - The Real Murdering McCoy - The Realness of Charles "Kid" McCoy AKA Norman Selby Sep 14, 2022

This week, we go back to a much different time, with a man who had his first boxing match in 1891, after learning to fight against "hobos" in train cars at age 13! He wasn't some boring, old timey guy, though. He was a scammer, and a flamboyant fighter, who did many things for the first time. He invented "your shoes are untied", then knocking someone out, when they looked down. He employed thumbtacks. He was a part of fixed fights. He did it all. Including appearing in many silent films, and even teaching Charlie Chaplin to box. All of this leads to a terrible murder, of course. A murder that sends him to prison, where he does more interesting things! A wild trip down a black & white lane!!

Run away from home at 13, become the first showboat of boxing, and try to convince the police that the woman you're having an affair with actually stabbed & shot herself with Charles "Kid" McCoy!!

#320 - Jailing Nemo - The Designatedness of Nemessis Bates Sep 06, 2022

This week, we look at the story of a man, who never quite achieved his goal to be an NFL player, did achieve a lot in the worlds of both car washing, and violence! He was involved with what could be described as "the wrong people", who were involved in an underground enterprise, so big, that the leader was considered The King of New Orleans. This was enforced with the help of a hitman, who used 2 guns, at once, and appeared in rap videos. This all leads to a confrontation over money, and Nemessis (real name!!) decides to unleash some of this organization's violent ways on the man he feels deserves it!

Play for a major college program, but get injured in your senior year, make friends with the most violent gang in town, use this power to kill someone who dares to cross you with Nemessis "Nemo" Bates!!

A tremendous baseball player, with all the accolades & championships, but off the field, he was anything but a champion. From wife punching, to a multi decade crack/cocaine addiction, complete with drug rehab escapes, to terrible driving. This guy spends a long time just not getting it, but will he ever come around, and ditch the demons??

Have a beautiful left handed swing, escalate all arguments with your significant other, and go to great lengths to find cocaine with Darryl Strawberry!!

He also loves to put his foot in his mouth, should stay off social media, for his own good, and he should absolutely, positively NEVER drive a car. From a tragic, and awful accident, with criminal implications, to fights with fans at 4am. He has it all! Despite all of this, he's pretty likable, just don't ask him for a picture, on the street, or your phone may end up thrown onto the next block!!

This week, we check out a man who is known very little for his brief MMA career, but he is a "superstar" of crime. After washing out of the lowest levels of MMA, he takes a job at Home Depot, meeting some new friends, and trying to lead a normal life. He meets some new friends, while selling them a barbecue, which to a night of heavy drinking, and good times. The problem is, at the end of the night, both of his new friends are dead, and the entire scene is soaked in blood. But he denies it all... until he decides that it was self defense, with one of the most ridiculous stories/excuses of all time!

Fail in your athletic career, have 2 roommates in a small apartment, and make up a fantastical story of how you were actually the victim, and did what you had to do to survive with Joaquin "Fire" Balassa!!

This week, we look at a guy who was so rough in Rugby, that he ended up having to become a boxer, in the middle of his career. He fought, threw cheap shots, and even used his fingers for purposes that certainly aren't legal, in any sport. He also consorted with alleged drug dealers, beat people outside of bars, and had quite an interesting trip to the local grocery store. But that's just the *finger*tip of the iceberg, as this man has done enough crazy things for several lives, including having 11 children!

Have all your kids be rugby stars, switch from one violent professional sport to another, and be able to intimidate your opponents with only a single finger with John Hopoate!!

This week, we look over the career & crazy times of a man who saw nothing but success in the NFL. An all pro, super bowl champion & apparent hang out buddy of Peyton Manning. Off the field, it's getting so drunk that you can't remember punching a cab driver, as he drove 75 mph on the interstate, or gun play in a strip club parking lot, or teaming with your mother to try to shoot your sister's boyfriend. Things like that. It's fighting with teammates, during your first 5 minutes in the NFL. He does all of this, and more, but in such an entertaining way that it's still hard not to like the guy!

Grow up, hating your hometown of Cleveland, get to know your pals, Tom Brady & Peyton Manning, and pistol whip your problems away with Aqib Talib!!

This week, we look at story that is deep in underground criminal lore. An English kickboxer, with international titles, but we barely have time for any sports, due to this episode being packed with crime. Wall to wall. His main occupation was robbing drug dealers for very large amounts of cash & product. Sometimes, needing to torture the unsuspecting dealer with a clothes iron. He claims to the main person to set off a famous riot, that lasted 9 days, and injured hundreds. He's just an all around bad dude. As a matter of fact, he calls himself "The Devil" This one is wilder than can be described here!!

Spend your childhood getting beat up by your sister, become the most feared drug dealer robber in Europe, and torture someone with an iron with Stephen "The Devil" French!!

#313 - Weaponized Cookies & Rollover Crashes - The Egocentricness of Jason Kidd Jul 19, 2022

This week, we look at hall of fame player, who was the best at what he did, from the second he stepped on to a basketball court. The world bent over backwards to show him love, and let him off the hook, at every turn. He had a very public marriage, even hosting a TV show, with his wife. But under the surface, there was allegations of a decade of abuse, with implements of violence ranging all the way from a baseball bat, to a large cookie. In addition, he is a TERRIBLE driver, especially when he's had "a few" drinks! It's the story of a guy, who people just don't seem to like, no matter how much he accomplishes, or how many apologies he makes!

Leave your friends at the scene of an accident that you caused, blame your son for your wife's fat lip, and have everyone generally roll their eyes at you with Jason Kidd!!
