Is There Bad Design Oct 27, 2025
    Show notes

Evolutionists argue that nature displays “bad design”—from junk DNA to vestigial organs—proving evolution rather than creation. But does this argument hold up? Dr Jonathan Sarfati examines why claims of poor design often reflect misunderstanding or ignore crucial trade-offs, why some organs deemed useless actually serve vital functions, and how deterioration since humanity’s fall explains apparent imperfections. Through compelling case studies like the human appendix—long dismissed as vestigial but now recognized as essential to gut health—discover why design “flaws” may reveal brilliant engineering we’re only beginning to understand.

    Worldviews, Logic, & Earth’s Age - Part 2 Sep 08, 2025
    Show notes

For 1,800 years, the church unanimously affirmed a young earth—until Enlightenment deists and atheists introduced deep time concepts that originated outside Christian theology. This dramatic shift has cascaded into theological novelty, affecting core doctrines and weakening the church’s witness.

Why do Christians seek accommodation with naturalism when history shows such compromise leads to heterodoxy? John K Reed and Shaun Doyle examine how the old-earth paradigm represents a fundamental worldview conflict between Christianity and secular naturalism.

    Worldviews, Logic, & Earth’s Age - Part 1 Aug 25, 2025
    Show notes

Can Christians embrace an old earth while maintaining biblical faithfulness? This challenging question strikes at the heart of competing worldviews. Logic demonstrates that deep time belongs naturally to naturalism, not Christianity, creating fundamental tensions for believers who accept billions of years.

The argument reveals how old-earth theories align perfectly with naturalistic assumptions about reality, knowledge, and history. Meanwhile, Scripture's creation-fall-flood narrative, biblical chronology, and core doctrines like divine providence point consistently toward a young earth. Written by John K Reed.

Is Ignorance Bliss? Aug 11, 2025
    Show notes

Why do people reject biblical creation despite compelling evidence? Through a conversation with bikers in Scotland, we explore two types of ignorance that keep people from accepting God’s truth about origins. Some genuinely don’t know creation science exists, while others willfully ignore it to avoid accountability to their Creator.

The big questions of life—where we came from, why we’re here, and what happens when we die—receive vastly different answers depending on your worldview.

Evolution Cannot Tame the Hero Shrew Jul 14, 2025
    Show notes

The hero shrew of Congo possesses an extraordinary spine that can withstand a full-grown person standing on it, yet remains flexible enough for the animal to turn completely around in tight spaces. This remarkable backbone defies evolutionary explanations with its unique interlocking vertebrae and specialized muscles found nowhere else in nature.

Scientists have struggled to explain how such complex engineering could arise through gradual evolution. Despite discovering what they claim is an evolutionary intermediate, researchers still cannot identify the specific behavior that would drive such dramatic spinal modifications. The Mangbetu people have long marveled at this creature's incredible strength, but modern science continues to search for answers about its origins and purpose.

When the Creator Wore Sandals Jun 30, 2025
    Show notes

Why would the Creator of the universe wear dusty sandals and walk among the people He made? This thought-provoking piece explores how Jesus’ incarnation redefines our understanding of humility, authority, and the nature of true leadership. Far from distant, the divine stepped into history — with skin, sandals, and scars.

Jesus on the Age of the Earth Jun 16, 2025
    Show notes

What did Jesus actually believe about the age of the earth? When Christ said humans were created “from the beginning,” He directly contradicted billions-of-years timelines. Yet many Christian academics now claim Jesus was simply mistaken about science.

One prominent professor shocked with his response: “Jesus didn’t know as much science as we do today.” Dr Carl Wieland and Dr Jonathan Sarfati explore these profound questions about biblical authority.

Why Does Science Work at All? Jun 02, 2025
    Show notes

Why does science work at all? This fundamental question reveals something profound about reality itself. Modern science didn’t emerge by accident, it flourished uniquely under a Christian worldview while remaining stillborn in other cultures throughout history.

The very foundations that make scientific investigation possible—objective truth, an orderly universe, rational thought, and honest reporting—find their roots in biblical principles. Without these presuppositions, there would be no basis for expecting consistent natural laws or trusting human reason to understand them.

This exploration challenges the popular narrative about faith and science, revealing how Christianity provided the essential framework that made modern scientific discovery not just possible, but inevitable.

The Role of Inspiration and Imagination in Design May 12, 2025
    Show notes

Where do sudden insights—those creative “leaps” of inspiration—come from? This exploration of imagination and design proposes that the creative process involves more than just steps of reasoning. Inspiration often appears fully formed, untraceable to logic alone.

Designers frequently draw from nature to create things that are elegant, purposeful, and unified. If nature is our most consistent source of good design, what does that say about its origin? These questions challenge the notion of randomness and suggest deeper implications.
