A giraffe's heart must generate blood pressure roughly double our own just to reach a brain six metres up, yet its heart isn't oversized at all. How does an ordinary pump manage this, and what stops brain vessels from bursting, or pressure from crashing, each time the animal lowers or raises its head to drink?

Layered safeguards, pooling blood in neck veins, a dense vascular network behind the skull, a carotid-vertebral bypass, even the angle of the head's rise, work together with split-second precision, pointing to design rather than chance. Doctor Jonathan Corrado unpacks the evidence.

For years, prominent skeptics have ridiculed the vertebrate eye as a botched design — wired backward, with nerves supposedly blocking the light. Dr Jonathan Sarfati asks whether that's really a scientific objection, or a theological one in disguise.
