From 'The Daily Ticket' (subscribe here): Oh, what a night in Chicago! Patrick Kane went back to the Windy City for the first time on Sunday night since being traded last season and it happened to be on the same evening that the Blackhawks were retiring the number 7 of Chris Chelios. Jeff Riger takes you through what turned out to be a special, spectacular evening in Detroit sports. Chelios bet that the Blackhawks could stop Kane, he also riled up the United Center crowd to chant “Detroit Sucks” all while the Wings found a way to get the last laugh with a win. Detroit is now 8 points above the playoff cut line in the Eastern Conference, they’re on a 5 game win streak and they look like a shoe in to make the postseason. And, then there is Kane who has been absolutely remarkable as a member of the Wings. Last night was an evening you won’t soon forget on the latest episode of The Daily Ticket.
