    Show notes

The vicious murders of three elderly women frightened an entire town, causing people to sleep at the homes of friends and family. A young and relatively inexperienced detective is placed on the case. When the killer is finally caught, the motive seemed a bit far fetched for the brutality of the killings.

101: Bad Blood: The Papin Sisters Oct 15, 2019
    Show notes

This week we bring you the story of the Papin sisters whose crimes inspired great debate in France. In 1933, the sisters brutally murdered their employer's wife and daughter in a gruesome, long lived attack. Because of the gore involved, many argued that they must be mentally ill. However, many saw it as a sure sign of the struggle between the rich and the poor, and felt the sisters were heroes.

99: LIVE From Wild Roast Cafe - Corpus Delicti and Moms and Murder: Lynda Lyon Block Sep 24, 2019
    Show notes

Well guys, this is it! Our very first (maybe last? Who knows!) live event! We are eternally grateful for Melissa and Mandy from Moms and Murder for joining us in this adventure. We bring you the story of Lynda Lyon Block (that's Lynda with a Y, as Melissa is sure to point out), an extremist who met her match in George Sibley. The two were on the run from an assault on Lynda's ex husband when they came head to head with a police officer in a WalMart parking lot that eventually led to their capture.
THANK YOU to Wild Roast Cafe for hosting this wonderful event. If you're in the Birmingham, AL area, please stop by and support them.
