    2. In John 6:52-53, Jesus says talks about eating his flesh and drinking his blood. This doesn't seem to be a metaphor, so why don't you accept Jesus's words here that this is "truly" my flesh and blood as his real presence in the eucharist?

    3. What are your thoughts about Christians working with their gay neighbors, how should we approach this?

    4. When I read all the evidences of fruit that Christians are supposed to have, I know I lack in them, so it causes me to worry if I'm saved. Should we examine the fruit in our lives this way?

    1. Why is it that Jesus commands us in Matthew 28 to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but in Acts 8, 10, and elsewhere, the early church is shown to baptize in the name of Jesus?

    2. What is prevenient grace and is it biblical? I have heard this said from the pulpit but am not sure what it means.

    3. Is it healthy for an individual whose husband has been gone 15 or 20 years for them to continue to pray for reconciliation?

    4. In a previous episode, you answered a question about Genesis 1 and you made it seem like we are not only made in God's image but in the image of angels as well. Can you clarify this?

    5. A follow up question about the baptismal formula.

    2. I am wondering, what does the Bible say about suicide?

    3. In 2 Peter 2:20, it seems like Peter is saying people can lose their salvation, but in John 6 and 10 it seems like Jesus says we can't lose our salvation. How do we make sense of these verses?

    1. I know in the Bible that it says that marriage is supposed to be one man and one woman, but where does it say we have to have a written document to legitimize a marriage?

    2. If we promote or condone stories that use sorcery, aren't we encouraging the practice of sorcery and suggesting that one should emulate the protagonists in these stories? After all, the authors are holding these characters up as examples of good and noble character.

    3. Why and how did the translators of the Bible separate the verses and the chapters? What was the purpose and process behind that?

    4. When God made Adam and Eve, knowing that they would sin, why didn't he stop them in the first place?

    5. Thank you for the show. What should my life look like on a daily basis if I am putting God first, as it says in Matthew 6:33. For example, is it ok to buy something I don't need like a coffee or should I take the money I would spend on that and use it to help others?

    1. Lots of people talk about the topic of God's sovereignty as it relates to if we choose God or if God chooses us, but I am wondering if this truth is good news to those who are suffering or does it add to their pain, knowing that God allowed it to happen? Should we not mention it at all to those who are experiencing suffering?

    2. What does the term "unconditional election" mean?

    3. Is purgatory still taught and preached in the Catholic Church? If it is, does it exist and is that taught in the Bible or is that a false teaching and is there no existence of purgatory? Could you point me to the scriptures on this?

    4. In John 6:53, when Jesus talks about eating his flesh and drinking his blood, can you explain what this means, and if it is symbolic or literal?

    2. How do I find rest when I feel like I am experiencing spiritual warfare?

    3. My wife and I have stopped attending church and I don't feel that bad about it and this surprises me. Do I have to be apart of a church?

    4. Is it ever wrong to keep praying for something to happen? There are a couple things that I have been praying for for years now and I'm wondering if God just wants me to stop praying for those things and just be content with my current life circumstances or is it okay to keep praying for those things to happen?

    1. What does it mean that Jesus "emptied himself," as Paul says in Philippians 2:7?

    2. There are so many different denominations, and even within those no one agrees on everything 100%. I am having anxiety about if I don't agree with a certain pastor or elder about everything. Is this ok or what should we do when experiencing these tensions?

    3. In Luke 9:23, what does Jesus mean when he says that we must "deny ourselves" and "take up our cross"?

    4. It seems like Paul often refers to Jesus as "Lord" but he refers to the Father as "God." Why doesn't Paul explicitly refer to Jesus as "God"? John seems to make it clear that Jesus is God, but Paul doesn't. Is there something special about the title "Lord," and that is why he mainly calls Jesus "Lord"?

    Show Notes

    1. Folks like to say, "if it's good enough for Paul, it's good enough for me." But Paul says that he puts a curse on anybody in the church that doesn't preach the gospel, he says that twice in Galatians quoting from Deuteronomy. And he says in Acts 28 that the gospel he preached was the Gospel of the kingdom and that Jesus is the Messiah. I don't hear anybody talking about the kingdom and the Messiah. Could you comment on that?

    2. Is speaking in tongues for today, if so, what is its purpose?

    3. Will there be husband and wife relationships in heaven? If yes, what will it be like for a person who has been in more than one marriage?

    4. What is the role of the antichrist in the end times? I see a lot of people trying to rebuild the temple in Israel, but is this the work of the antichrist?

    5. How do you respond to a Christian who expects unbelievers to ask them questions about Christ because they do not live like the world but are not always willing to initiate the conversation first.
