    "Pediatric Anesthesia" - Rebecca Collier
    Rebecca is a triple alum from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She completed her MS Nurse Anesthesia Specialization in 2003. In 2013 she completed her DNP and has been a faculty member at SIUE’s Nurse Anesthesiology Department for 10 years. Rebecca has provided anesthesia for almost 20 years at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. She became a NAPA employee in May 2022. She specializes in neonatal and pediatric anesthesia and has been a member of the high-risk OB team for the past three years. Rebecca also enjoys quality improvement and has mentored several students through the DNP project process. She is active on multiple committees and serves in a leadership role at HSHS St. John’s. Rebecca has provided anesthesia on three medical mission trips in Yendi, a remote village in northern Ghana, Africa, with Mission:318.

    "Opioid-Free Anesthesia" - Thomas Baribeault
    Thomas Baribeault is a clinical coordinator and chief obstetric CRNA for Commonwealth Anesthesia in Lexington, KY. He specializes in obstetric anesthesia, acute surgical pain management, non-surgical pain management, and point-of-care ultrasound. He founded the Society for Opioid-Free Anesthesia (SOFA) which is a non-profit organization dedicated to education and research on opioid-free anesthesia and post-operative pain management. He received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Ohio State University, a master’s of science in nursing and anesthesia residency from Case Western Reserve University, and a doctorate in nursing practice and pain management fellowship from the University of South Florida.

    Joseph A. Rodriguez, DNAP, CRNA, has been in practice for 10 years while currently focusing on business and operations for Guide Healthcare.

    Dr. Rodriguez is the former president of the Arizona Association of Nurse Anesthesiology and has served on the board of directors for the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology. He has led several reforms at the state and federal levels. He maintains a faculty position at National University and has written for The Washington Times, Anesthesiology News, The Arizona Capitol Times, and Outpatient Surgery. He speaks nationally on business and leadership.
