Sheree Trask: Healing After Trauma Oct 17, 2022
    Show notes

If you have experienced a trauma, you may be left wondering why it happened and how you can heal. According to Sheree Trask, you were a victim the moment it happened, but you don’t have to remain one any longer. Sheree was sexually assaulted at age 19. She remained silent for 3.5 years. Once she broke her silence, she got sick and spent the next (nearly) decade in and out of the hospital with unexplained illnesses. Sheree finally found the courage to go inward and heal. It was through healing the relationship with herself, and having the courage to speak up and be seen, that she was able to accept the gift in her pain.

In her book, Surviving Silence: A Healing Path to Living Out Loud After Trauma, Sheree shares her story and takes readers on a journey of self discovery inviting them to rediscover and reclaim the forgotten pieces they’ve stashed away. She reminds us that everyone is worthy and capable of healing no matter what they’ve been through.

In a recent conversation Sheree shared some of what she’s learned.

Curtis Jenkins: Stop Working, Start Living Oct 13, 2022
    Show notes

Many entrepreneurs believe that to grow their businesses, they must work harder and harder. They overlook the importance of the team, the financials, and a solid plan that must be executed and adjusted on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. They don’t understand the concept of working “on the business” because they are too often working harder and harder “in the business”, creating another job for themselves instead of rising to leadership and orchestrating a well-run business.

In Vision to Reality: Stop Working, Start Living, Curtis Jenkins provides a simple set of steps to help entrepreneurs realize their vision for their business and “clear the fog” for everyone involved to get on board with executing the vision.

In a recent conversation, Curtis discussed foundational principles and tools often overlooked by entrepreneurs in their quest for business success.
