Mars Cycles with Adam Gainsburg Jun 27, 2024

Show notes

Adam Gainsburg returns! It's been years since he was last on the show, but after quite the journey, he and I pick up right where we left off: talking about planetary cycles. I'm not sure how many times Adam has been on the show, but what I can say is that all his appearances have taught me something new about these synodic cycles. I hope you enjoy and learn something new as well from listening.

Deep Astrological Questions with Ray Grasse May 28, 2024

Show notes

Ray Grasse returns to the pod to discuss his new book of essays So, What Am I Doing Here, Anyway? Ranging beyond the astrological into the philosophical, it's a thought provoking collection of the questions we've all asked before, like: How does synchronicity relate to astrology? How in the world do charts still work once a person has already died? Or, Why is it that we are pattern-seeking creatures? I had a great time reading many of these essays and I'm excited to share this conversation with you. Enjoy.

Constellating Cosmos: an introduction Apr 24, 2024

Show notes

In this pod, I give some time to explain the latest changes to the show. For many of you, nothing may seem to change; for others, it may be confusing or abrupt. Inspired by the Jungian concept of constellating psyche, this new title borrows some of its spirit around fully engaging with "archetypes" and leans more into the planetary side of the equation. There will be more focus on cycles moving forward. There will also be many more shows that may seem unrelated to astrology but will be essential for our exploration of all these wyrd ideas. Glad I've still got you along for the ride.

Mushrooms with Jonathan Fredette Mar 28, 2024

Show notes

This is the first show under the new banner/name Constellating Cosmos. It's the third name and hopefully the last. To set off on this new journey, I've decided to share this conversation I recently had with Jonathan Fredette. He's a fellow mycophile out in Oregon and also has a mushroom company called Evolved Mushrooms. I really enjoyed meeting him. It reminded me that I've never met a mushroom person I didn't like. They are all fun guys and gals.

Stoicism & Astrology Feb 27, 2024

Show notes

In this show, I try to reconcile the differences between Stoicism and Astrology. There was a time when they existed side-by-side, and it seems they are doing so again today. Both have seen a generous climb in popularity in recent years and I feel they need eachother—well, one needs the other more than the other. I make a case for this in the pod. It's a solo one. I hope you enjoy it.

The Trans-Neptunian Planets with Jenn Zahrt Jan 23, 2024

Show notes

In this episode, Jenn returns to share with us some intel from the outer edges of our solar system. You see, in the early 20th century, there was a school of German astrologers who became fascinated in these "hypothetical" planets beyond Neptune. This was before Pluto's discovery and gained much momentum in certain circles. If you have ever seen the option to put Cupido or Hades in your chart, it's these Uranian planets we explore. Fascinating material. Jenn is always a treat to talk to. I learn something new every time—without fail. Enjoy!

A Trinity for 24' "Endless Inquiries" Dec 31, 2023

Show notes

This is the final podcast of 2023. Instead of doing a recap of the year, I've decided to choose the top 3 themes of 24' I've been thinking about, and share what I think about them. It's also a solo show. I know, I attempted to do all of them as solo shows at the start of the year, but had to squeeze a few conversations in there. I felt lonely. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. See you next year!!!

Being Dreamt: An Astrological Observation Nov 28, 2023

Show notes

In this show, I share one of my favorite theories of how astrology works and how such a simple technique can change your life forever. It relates to dreaming. The overlap between dreams and transits has intrigued me from the beginning; I have learned so much from the interplay between the two that I feel it's now time to share a few of my findings. I hope it inspires you to do the same.

Soul Healing with Tansy Baigent Oct 26, 2023

Show notes

In this show, Tansy returns to talk about the Soul. We speak about what it is, why it's important to tend to it, and what must be done to retrieve parts of it if it goes wandering. It's not the most astrological of my pods, yet it's still a valuable conversation. I hope you find some meaning in it and get inspired to work with Tansy as well. Enjoy.

Adam
