This should be the main focus of the GOP response to the war on Israel – ensuring that we don’t have our own Gaza situation at home. I’m joined by Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies, who offers a spellbinding presentation on the sheer numbers of Middle Eastern and North African invaders who are being let in through our front door by the Biden administration. With three weeks of observations since the Hamas genocide against Jews, we can now reflect with a more clear-eyed strategic approach. Today, I make the case that from both an America First and a pro-Israel standpoint, I’d rather we focus on divesting from the Middle East, defunding Israel’s enemies, breaking Biden’s alliances, and protecting our own shores from the growth of Muslim anti-Semitism than on simply sending Israel more money. Biden is using that money as leverage to handcuff Israel. Also, I share some nascent concern that Speaker Johnson has no appetite for a government shutdown fight and that we might actually have less leverage with him than with McCarthy. Finally, I provide some new statistics on how we are bankrupt as a nation.

How Venezuela Is a Conduit for Hezbollah and Hamas in Our Own Hemisphere | Guest: Joseph Humire | 10/27/23 Oct 27, 2023

While our soldiers remain in the Middle East protecting Iranian proxies from Sunni insurgents, Iran is using its proxies in Venezuela to subvert our border. We’re joined today by Joseph Humire, executive director of the Center for a Secure Free Society and one of the foremost experts on Latin American affairs, who first warned on this show years ago that Venezuela would become our Syria. Well, now it is. Venezuela is the number-one sending country of illegal aliens, but it has also become a visa mill and logistics platform for Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iranian intelligence. There is no way we are not allowing those elements into our country, along with the hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan migrants. Our blindness to our own border and hemisphere has allowed all the bad actors in the Middle East to utilize Venezuela as a staging ground for narco-terrorism. That same staging ground now has a land bridge right to our border. Humire also warns that Colombia is the next shoe to drop that will send millions more to our border. We don’t have any visionaries among Republicans with a strategy to shut this down.

So who is Mike Johnson, the presumptive new speaker? I’m joined by Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.), who says that Johnson is probably the first bona fide social conservative to get into leadership and is genuinely a decent human being who is humble and respected. But does that translate into a strategic asset? Time will tell. But the way to make that happen is for the Freedom Caucus to unite behind an ironclad plan on the budget. I make the case for why the border should be the lead issue. There is new information indicating that Biden has let in tens of thousands of Middle Easterners just in the past year. We are facing unavoidable peril from the invasion, and if we cannot unite the House GOP behind a death match over that issue, then this entire exercise was a waste of time.

Today, I explain how our government funded Hezbollah, trained and equipped them, and then provided counterintelligence assets for them to blind Israeli intelligence. This occurred right as Iran was training Hamas at Hezbollah bases. They used taxpayer-funded assets to catch all of the Israeli spies and unravel their intelligence network. I also talk about the crisis of morality in the West that has turned Gaza into the new George Floyd. We have a big problem among our younger generation. It’s not just a matter of destroying Israel. We are dealing with a high-tech blood libel whereby Western governments and media serve as indispensable tools for Hamas to handcuff Israel from protecting its citizens. This is a global problem, and American Christian conservatives are the last people standing in the way of a global consensus to have Israel commit suicide. This is all the more reason why we need to organize our reddest areas full of Bible-believing Christians and form a de facto sanctuary from this national and international hell.
