Today, I give you information you will not hear anywhere else on how the Department of Homeland Security is failing to enforce the law and properly message it because it is too scared of the media. Our laws are being broken because the media is calling the shots.

Criminal aliens are being allowed to remain in the country, against numerous laws. It’s a mixture of sanctuaries not being punished, DHS not enforcing the law, and leftist judges engaging in civil disobedience.

At the same time, states can’t even set their own bathroom policies but somehow are strong enough to overpower ICE on the core federal power of immigration.

We begin by reviewing an assortment of leftover news items. Most importantly, I warn how those who believe a careful immigration policy is akin to Nazism should take a look at Europe and see what open borders have done to European Jews.

Next, we hear from Mr. Pessimism himself, Col. Dan Steiner, who actually gives us an optimistic look at Trump’s posture towards Iran. He gives us a full briefing on what Iran is doing and what he thinks we are doing strategically and diplomatically to counter them. But with Iran cornered, this is also a dangerous time, and Trump needs to stay focused on his mission and message. Steiner also reminds us that if you can’t stand for defending your people at home, you certainly can’t do it abroad.

Walk in the shoes of a border agent for just one day before you criticize them. Sergio A. Tinoco (@VeteranTinoco on twitter, Proud American on Facebook) is author of a book, "Proud American: The Migrant, Soldier, and Agent." He joined the military and served for 10 years, then became a border agent in the hardest-hit areas of the Rio Grande Valley sector.

Sergio explains the unimaginable trials and tribulations of border agents' conflicting mission that keeps changing because Congress refuses to work with them. They are confronting a vicious cycle of failed policies and lack of resources that emboldens the cartels to outmaneuver them at every turn. They are assaulted, yet few of those they catch are ever prosecuted. He also explains how Congress is making their lives worse by funding more humanitarian care at detention centers, thereby draining more agents, without giving them more resources for enforcement, countering cartels, or giving ICE more funding for beds and repatriation.
