    Confident Business English

Are you an international senior manager who wants to feel more confident communicating in English? I’m Anna Connelly, an Advanced Neurolanguage Coach®, and every week I bring you practical business English strategies to help you communicate more confidently at work.

The ideas in this podcast come directly from the real communication challenges I work on with senior managers in my coaching sessions every day, including difficult meetings, presentations, speaking up, explaining complex ideas, handling pressure and sounding more natural in English.

So, in many ways, think of each episode as a short coaching session with me: practical, focused and designed to give you something you can actually use at work.

Listeners tell me they love the podcast because it’s clear, to the point and relevant to their working lives and, most importantly, because they can see tangible results with their confidence.

So, ready to take the next step? Let’s crack on.

Imagine your boss or colleague gives you feedback on a piece of work. It's good news, they are really happy with the work you have done, they are telling you that everything is great. And when they finish speaking, you don't really know what else to say other than "Thank you." You don't feel this accurate reflects enough of what you want to say and would like to know other phrases you can use. This topic was suggested by listener Jess, based in Shangai. Thank you for your suggestion, I thought it was a really good point and something I thought you could relate to as well.
