Bandcamp - there are six albums of earlier conelrad material here to buy at whatever price you choose.

Hi folks. This one is really punchy and driving, I hope you like it. It's nice to up the energy from time to time and I happen to find it lots of fun (and was a good production challenge as well; uptempo stuff is tricky if you're not used to it).

Hi folks and a special welcome to any FODs who have joined us after hearing the P1 on Greatest Generation. I've been a greatest gen viewer for several years so it was thrilling to hear my pod getting promoted on the show. I hope you stick around to enjoy the music for a long time to come.
This one is lively, I suppose, but still hypnotic and absorbing, and I hope I've kept the transitions gentle and flowing so it shouldn't rupture your concentration any. Hope you like it. If not, well, there's 125 more to dig through in the back catalogue :)

Happy new year all. I've tried to keep this one fresh, airy, and not too complicated, to help things feel fresh and light in the new year. I hope you enjoy it and/or find it helpful.
If you're new to the podcast, remember there are 124 other episodes to try, in all kinds of different styles -- if this one doesn't do it for you, don't be afraid to go on an exploratory wander through the back catalogue and try out a few episodes to see if you can find something you enjoy.

Hello!
This one was inspired by the kind of video game j-jazz from the megadrive era that keeps sticking in my head and will not leave! Really pleased with the slap bass in this (I promise no slap bass in the next episode... been listening to too much Louis Cole I guess). enjoy!

WooOoOoooooooooooooo! WooooooOOOOOOooOOOO!! That's right, it's another spooky conelcast Halloween episode! I didn't know if I'd ever do another one (the last one can be found way back in 2018) but I guess I was just gripped by the vibes of the spooky season. halloween is fast becoming my fav time of year.
It's a little livelier than normal episodes but I hope the midtempo slap bass groove is still useful to help you concentrate... on TERROR!!!

Wow, this one almost didn't happen! I had to make a visit to the hospital the other week (nothing too serious but very painful) and was unable to sit down properly most of the time since. That said though, what I did manage to do is something I'm very pleased with -- a little FM synth jazz for your soul.

Hi folks. It's the end of another year again. I hope you're doing okay, or, if not, this music helps you in some way. I have to admit that it's slipped into the melancholic (and, tbh, melodramatic) for reasons beyond my control, but I enjoyed it in its own way -- so I hope you do too.

Hi folks, hope you're doing okay and that you enjoy the episode. Plenty of interesting different melodies all interacting with each other in this episode; experimenting with not having one lead melody but letting them all drift in and out as the song progresses. The structure of the piece is a little more unusual this time too. Hope you like it.

Hey folks!
This one was the result of an earnest attempt to find a chord progression I'd definitely never used before. It took a lot of work, but I feel like it hangs together really nicely and doesn't feel "weird", but just nice and satisfying. I am pretty pleased with the mix also.
I will say that, partly because of the mix (and the increasing quality of my mixing generally, as I get more practice), it gets more worth it every episode to upgrade to being a Patreon member, and get those sweet high quality versions of the tracks!
meanwhile I hope you enjoy it. Take care!

Hey folks!
Couldn't resist building a song around this public domain found recording. Still on that 808 tip but not quite dipping so deeply into the 90s ambient house well -- bringing in a few more sounds. Hope you like it.

Also, the fourth episode of DRONE ALONE, my series of drone tracks, is now available exclusively on Patreon -- if you'd like to get hold of all of the episodes so far, and get the new ones as they come out, just head on over to patreon.com/conelrad.
If you join, you can, for the equivalent of 3 bucks US per month plus whatever tiny local taxes might apply, get access to Drone Alone, plus the entire back catalogue of conelcast without intros, stings, or announcements, in 320Kbps quality. There are also some extra tracks! Great value. Anyway, take care and enjoy this week's track.

Hey folks.
Sometimes a song kinda writes itself, and those tend to be the best ones. I'm really happy with how this one turned out, and I hope you like it. It's more on the melancholic side, but also pretty I hope.
Don't forget that the second episode of DRONE ALONE, my series of drone tracks, is now available exclusively on Patreon -- if you'd like to get hold of the first one and get the new ones as they come out, just head on over to patreon.com/conelrad.

I work full-time, but conelcast making some money is one of the ways i can justify carving out such a huge amount of my spare time to do it every two weeks instead of (for instance) once a month. So if you haven't joined, consider it! Thanks!

Hey everyone!
Felt like leaning on the hypnotic and the hauntological here, with highly chopped and processed nonsense vocals to drive the atmosphere. Hope you like it.

Hi folks. Things are dark in every way so I'm hoping this song will bring a little light in. I promise I'll stop sampling american public information films for a while after this, but I just loved the musical sample I was able to lift from this one.

I'm happy to announce Drone Alone, a new monthly series of longform drone tracks. If you like your music deep, textural, and uninterrupted by beats or earworm melodies, DRONE ALONE might be for you.
I'll be releasing a new album-length drone track every month, exclusively on Patreon. To get it, just join the conelrad patreon at https://patreon.com/conelrad. As well as all the previous member benefits (announcement-free episodes of conelcast is higher quality format, extra bonus tracks) you'll get access to a new Drone Alone track on the last Monday of every month, and a If you're an existing Patreon supporter, you won't need to pay any extra for this!
conelcast itself will be unaffected, and will still be coming out every other week as usual.
So give it a try!
Hi everyone. Hope you're keeping okay, or as close to it as possible. I always find it harder and harder to do anything as the weather turns and it gets darker and colder. Hoping that, as with the last couple of years, continuing to make music for you will help to keep me on the straight and narrow.
In any case, here's the new track. Hope you enjoy it and find it helpful. take care.

Hi folks, hope you're keeping as safe as you can.
This song was a lot of work but it feels like it was worth it! There are vocals, but they're hypnotic nonsense, so hopefully not distracting. Hope you like it.
Quick note: if you haven't already done so, could I trouble you to leave a (good lol) review for conelcast on Apple Podcasts / iTunes / whatever it's called? Or whatever podcast service you use? It would be really helpful. Thank you!

Hi folks, hope you're okay. This one is quite four-on-the-floor, but nothing too garish; I've tried to keep it pleasantly minimal and melodic. Lovely harps. Yes, harps!
If you find that conelcast is something you listen to a lot, and you're not already a member, then do consider joining the conelcast Patreon. It's the thing that has ensured that I am able to keep making time alongside my full-time job to produce this podcast. You'll get higher-quality and intro/sting-free versions of the tracks, as well as an extra track and some other bonus bits and pieces. The other week I posted some pics of the raspberry jam I made. It was nice.
At the moment, it's 3 US dollars per month. You can join over at patreon.com/conelrad.
Also you can get in touch with me on twitter @conelraduk. And if you've not rated/reviewed conelcast yet on iTunes/Apple Podcasts, it would be great if you could!
Anyway stay safe and enjoy the episode.

With thanks to June LaLonde, who inadvertently provided the title for this track! She's also a great musician and artist well worth checking out, and you can find her music at https://junelalonde.bandcamp.com if you fancy it.
Anyway, hope you're doing okay. The other thing I wanted to mention is that I've resurrected the conelrad YouTube channel. If you like the show, please consider supporting it financially by chipping in a few bucks a month at the Patreon (patreon.com/conelrad). You get higher-quality versions of the tracks, with no intros, stings, or announcements. There's a growing amount of exclusive extra stuff there too!
I work full-time, but conelcast making some money is one of the ways i can justify carving out such a huge amount of my spare time to do it every two weeks instead of (for instance) once a month. So if you haven't joined, consider it! Thanks!

I have about six albums of music at conelrad.bandcamp.com. You can pay whatever you like for them. Some people have done this already (thank you so much).

Hi folks!
Hope you're keeping okay. This one is fairly lively but I think still very much in the vein of music that can help you focus. I'm pretty pleased with it actually. Some nice wub wub bass in there :)

Hi folks!
Hope you're doing alright. I know there's all kinds of pressure on people right now; i'm not excluded from that. It's been tougher than usual over here for various reasons not limited to the pandemic, but continuing to keep conelcast going has been a good thing to focus on. As usual, I hope conelcast helps you a bit too.

HELLO
I am writing from conelcast's new home with a brand new host, which should help to remedy a few issues I'd been having, and also expand my options for promoting and growing the podcast. Hopefully the redirect has worked, and you're reading this. If not, well, uhh, hope you find us later!
Anyway! Here's this week's episode. I really went with all my most comfortable instincts with this one, so hopefully it's warming and relaxing for you, but not too boring.

Hey folks. conelrad here. It’s conelcast time and I am here with the goods. This one is kinda the third part of a loose and unofficial triptych of tracks with a faintly dark jazz / downtempo breakbeat mood that began with track 10 (Perfect Information Games) and continued with track 28 (Imperfect Competition). I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I’m really pleased with the result. I hope you like it too. Please stay as safe as you can and enjoy. \|/

Hey everyone. Here’s some downtempo drama for you; hope you enjoy it. I thought maybe it might be a bit distracting for conelcast but oddly it isn’t; it helped me a lot while working from home this week (yes, I road-test conelcast eps regularly!). I also realised it’s conelcast’s second birthday! Which had slipped by me, because, well, things are very odd right now and there’s a lot on my mind, as I’m sure is the case with everyone. Anyway, stay safe, and, if you can, stay inside.

Hi folks. Another bonus episode for you. I can’t promise I’ll keep making them at this pace, but I’ll try and make as many as I can. Again, the main fortnightly episodes will not be affected. These bonus episodes are likely to be shorter and simpler than full episodes, and may not be as polished in structure or sound. There will also not be a strict schedule. I will release them as I make them. But hopefully they will still be helpful.
Don’t forget there are more than 50 episodes in the back catalogue already, each one as long as a typical album. Do go back and check them out; maybe they will help. Meanwhile, take care out there, or in there, and let’s go. love conelrad

Hey everyone. Here’s a super-upbeat conelcast for you all. I think we need it (I know I do). I hope you like it. And my apologies to Steve Reich, who I think I had in mind when I was working on this, though it sort of moved away from that territory as it developed. I’m also going to be releasing some bonus episodes whenever I can (new ones, short, more sketchlike tracks) while all this nonsense is going on, just in case it helps. The first should already be in your podcast stream.

Hey everyone. This week, I explore what I can do with some ticking clocks and some other little textural touches, along with a rhodes sound that I couldn’t leave alone after the last episode. It’s very chill, though if you stick around til the very end you can be rewarded with a little drama!

50 EPISODES!!
When I started conelcast in April 2018 I had no idea I would actually manage to pull off any album-length songs to this kind of timetable without missing a deadline — let alone 50. I can only attribute this to the support of my listeners, which I appreciate hugely. Thank you for being there and I really hope that these songs have been a help to you. This song may be familiar to a very very small number of conelcast listeners — if so, I hope you like what I’ve done with it. If not, I hope you like it anyway.

Hey everyone! This one is very uptempo for conelcast but I hope you enjoy the energy. I really enjoyed putting it together. I do try to keep things mixed up. I’m always happy to hear your thoughts over at @conelraduk on twitter, or at my email (conelrad@munchhouse.com). If, when trying to listen to episode 48 (Kola Superdeep) you get the previous episode (Necessary Evil) by mistake, please just delete the episode from your podcast app and download it again. That should fix it. Sorry for the screwup, and thanks!
Hi folks it’s conelcast time. I am SO happy with this one, I can’t even say. It’s got some of the best atmosphere and “aging” that I’ve ever managed to produce in a track, let alone one that works and develops organically over 40 minutes. I finished it a couple weeks ago and have been listening to it most days, excited to release it. I hope I haven’t built it up too much!! but I really hope you like it. 2. Tell as many people as you can about the show! Recommended it to friends–especially those who are artists, writers, coders or people who just need something to help them focus on what they’re doing. I personally work in a large open-plan hotdesking office and listen to stuff like this all the time.
Whether you do any of the above or not, thank you so much for listening. It’s great that you’d trust me with your ears.

I have about six albums of music at conelrad.bandcamp.com. They’re mostly shorter tracks, but these are the albums that inspired conelcast (because people told me that they listened to them while working)/
You can pay whatever you like for them. Some people have done this already (thank you so much).

Hello folks! I present to you another 40ish minutes of music. I hope you like it. This one started with some microsampled vocals (unrecognisable as vocals now) and grew from there.

This one is mellow and downtempo. Stick with it though, it does have a groove, and it does develop. It also has one of my fave ever self-concocted synth sounds (the kinda wooden-sounding synth flourish).
It has been a very hard week so I’m hoping that this will help you as much as it’s helped me (listening to the drafts as I often do).
