Ep 205: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 19, Episode 4 Recap: "Trouble in Palm Springs" Oct 09, 2020

Show notes

This week's KUWTK did NOT disappoint, and Emma and Julie are so excited to really break it all down. It has everything - the Palm Springs house, (almost) all of the siblings and grandkids, fashion, games, behind-the-scenes....you name it. Perhaps most interesting to analyze is the Kendall/Kylie dynamic that was really brought to light towards the end of the episode.

The episode centers around a Palm Springs weekend getaway to reset and all be together. We get an inside look at Corey's very different relationships with all of Kris' kids - but mainly Kendall and Kylie. They hope that this time together will help strengthen his bond with Kendall, and they convince her to come (while customizing Ferraris, of course.) Khloé is also looking forward to the weekend with her family, specifically with Kourtney, as she still feels a strain on their relationship.

Once everyone arrives in Palm Springs, Scott breaks one of Kris' expensive vintage lamps and enlists Mason and North to help hide the evidence. After Kris searches high and low, Mason finally convinces Scott to fess up and Scott sets a good example for his son.

This is where things get crazy. To conclude the trip, they head out for a night out at a drag show. Tensions are (unexpectedly) high between Kendall and Kylie, and they get into two major fights over the course of the night - first over an outfit, and second over their plans to drive home together. Corey finds himself in the middle as the girls get physical, and it's a raw, real family moment caught on camera. Emma and Julie have so much to analyze here and really break down the family dynamics, past issues, and the potential root of some of the arguments.

Ep 203: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 19, Episode 3 Recap Oct 02, 2020

Show notes

On tonight's episode, KUWTK centers around Kim visitng the White House as part of her criminal justice reform work, Scott facing some health issues, and Khloé's quest to cure Kim's crippling fear of spiders.

While Kim is working on her documentary centered around criminal justice reform, she visits the White House with three women (Crystal Munoz, Judith Negron, and Tynice Nichole Hall) who have just had their jail sentences pardoned with the help of her and Alice Marie Johnson. They go to meet the President to help put faces with the issue and help advocate for policy changes.

North starts asking Kim for a pet tarantula, which happens to be Kim's biggest fear in life. So, naturally, Khloé brings a professional spider wrangler to the house. Khloé will not rest until Kim's fear goes away, and starts bringing them around when she least expects it. Kim perseveres to make North happy.

Scott notices himself feeling weak and tired, and he's nervous it may be Covid. Kim sends him to a special doctor to get to the root of the problem, as he reflects on the past damage he's done on his body.‚Äã

Comments By Bravo: ALL THINGS POTOMAC. Oct 01, 2020

Show notes

Emma and Isabel just couldn't wait another minute to discuss Sunday's groundbreaking episode of Real Housewives of Potomac, and decided to dedicate today's entire podcast to breaking it all down and discussing all 4 of the intense plotlines.

First, Candiace and Monique's explosive fight, which was unlike anything we've seen in Housewives history. They give a ton of context with off-screen receipts, Instagram lives, Candiace's appearance on Wendy Williams, and so so so much more. They discuss some motives, theories, how disgusting racial stereotypes impact the women's reactions, editing, 'sides,' and what we can possibly expect coming up for the rest of the season.

Next is Gizelle and Jamal's marriage rekindling, and Gizelle's father's revelation made off-camera to a producer. Also, Michael and Ashley's "post-nup" conversation, and how miraculously the heat was taken off of the infidelity incident because of the physical altercation.

Finally, they end on Karen and Ray's vulnerable coaching session where they got down to some problems in their marriage and Ray makes some shocking statements about his feelings towards his wife.

Guys, this was a RIDE full of 4th wall breaks and plenty of drama... and we're just so happy you're here to listen and get into it all with us.

They also discussed Dax Shepard's brave recounting of his relapse, Tory Lanez/Megan Thee Stallion and the larger picture it speaks to, Gigi & Zayn's baby, Kristin Cavallari's comments to People & Jordyn Woods' relationship with Karl Anthony Towns.

In the awards ceremony, Kim Kardashian took home the gold for 'funniest comment of the week.' In the Kardashian recap, they discussed Khloe & Tristan, and some other general Kardashian thoughts.

*timestamps subject to change as ad placements may change*

BEVERLY HILLS: ~ 11:07

First up is the news that Teddi Mellencamp will not be returning as a housewife after 3 seasons on the show, plus Andy and Lisa Vanderpump's comments about her departure. Ep 201: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 19, Episode 2 Recap Sep 25, 2020

Show notes

Emma and Julie are back for their second recap of Season 19 KUWTK. This episode is admittedly not the Kardashians' greatest of all time, but there are a bunch of amazing moments and plenty to talk about - plus reliving the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic when we were all naive about what to expect. The episode centers around 3 main plots: the end of Khloé & Scott's prank on Kris, the family traveling to Paris for Paris Fashion Week / Kanye's Yeezy show, and Kris & Corey's new puppy, Bridgette.

Khloé and Scott wrap up their paparazzi prank on Kris, but the three of them continue the fun by turning it around on Kim, convincing her that Kris thinks she's an alcoholic and has to check herself into rehab. Kourtney and Kim take North and P to Paris, despite starting to feel anxious about Coronavirus. They see the sites, wear a lot of latex, enjoy the Yeezy fashion show, and North gets to make her singing debut on stage.

We also get an intimate look into Kris and Corey's relationship with their new adopted puppy, how they share the responsibilities, and Kris' jealously when the pup steals her attention.

*Trigger warning* Next is the breaking news that Cheer star Jerry Harris was arrested on charges of producing child pornography, and how some of his castmates reacted to the news.

They also, of course, get into the epic star-studded virtual table read for Fast Times at Ridgemont High, where Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt read a sexual scene together and we all fully lost it. Finally, Cardi B has filed for divorce from Offset, plus Justin Bieber and Chance's video for "HOLY," and more.

In the awards ceremony, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Zach Braff take home the gold for "funniest comment" and "best clapback" of the week.

The Kardashian Recap includes Khloé and Scott's reactions to the end of KUWTK, Kylie's 'what's in my bag' video, and Kourtney's clapback about Addison.
